ChaosIV Twitch Edition

ChaosIV Twitch Edition is an extended version of the original ChaosIV Mod by lempamo. In this version, your twitch viewers can control the chaos by voting for any of the 4 given effects.

The effects will always be random except for the fourth one, which is always a "Random" option.

Inspired by the Chaos Mod for GTA V.

The support for this mod has ended.

If you want to use this mod, you WILL need ScriptHookDotNet.

If you want to upgrade from your older version of ChaosIV Twitch Edition, i would recommend you to delete ALL older files that came with ChaosIV Twitch Edition.

 

Bugs

1. If you click on "Connect to twitch" it wont sometimes actually connect you to twitch. The menu items are grayed out an the only way out is to reload the scripts. (Or to restart the voting window)
2. The effect "Set Player Into Closest Vehicle (ID 47)" and "Set Player Into Random Vehicle (ID 48)" can cause some problems like loosing the ability to control your character.

3. The category of each effect will now be displayed in the effects menu at the bottom of the menu.
4. You can no longer die that fast on Blade Hunger.
5. You Are Famous is no longer a timed effect due to heavy framedrops.
6. Changed "Spawn An Angry Doctor Who Wants To Knife You" effect. The doctor now spawns infront of you.

2. Users can now change their vote.
3. Effects that are shown in the voting window will now change their numbers from 1-4 to 5-8 that prevents twitch from holding back the same message.

Hi I have downloaded the mod, configured ini file and runned exe file, and then entered the game and pressed connect to twitch but it says unknown error, also it says pipe could not connect to server in console. Must I open port for streaming? I wasn't streamed any video in twitch before

 

And must I write same thing to Twitch user name and channel name in ini file. They are same in my Twitch account.

Yeah you need to write your username in both, Username and Channel.

Can you open up the scripthookdotnet console and tell me if there is sometinhg related to chaosiv twitch edition?

No you dont have to open port for streaming but, when you opened the TwitchChatVotingWindow, did windows prompt you with a firewall message thing?

Yes a firewall window appeared and I sayed allow.

It simply says "Unknown error". But I cannot look again because my game started crashing at startup, I don't know what happened, it was working well yesterday. I will write here if I can open the game and try mod again.
