Pick Up the New Dinka Verus for Free in GTA Online This Week
Plus Double Rewards for Open Wheel Races, Contact Missions, and More

Over the course of the next four weeks, we are celebrating the passion and dedication of the GTA Online community throughout a year unlike any other with a slew of new gifts, bonuses, and much more. It all kicks off this week, so jump into GTA Online to pick up the all-new Dinka Verus for no cost from Warstock Cache & Carry for a limited time, through March 3rd.

verus

verus.jpg

The Dinka Verus is a resilient off-roader that can withstand a barrage of brutal rolls, savage spins, and implausibly catastrophic head-ons. Of course, its exposed driver can't. But keep in mind that it's a two-seater, so you can share the injuries with your buddy. For two weeks only, civilians can claim their free Dinka Verus from Warstock Cache & Carry.

2X GTA$ and RP on Contact Missions, Open Wheel Races, and Biker Sell Missions

Business is booming in Southern San Andreas — so much so that networking nowadays is as easy as answering a phone call or text message on your iFruit. All Contact Missions are dishing out double rewards until February 24th. You can also request these Missions by calling a trusted Contact or launch your Mission of choice by hitting Pause > Online > Jobs > Play Job > Rockstar Created > Missions.

Open Wheel Races combine the finest in human engineering with animal-like reflexes. There’s also money to be won out on those tracks: more specifically, double the usual prize purse and RP payouts. Slide your helmet on and keep an eye on your tire health to avoid a costly blowout.

If your Biker Businesses are overflowing with product, it might be time to offload. Leather up and take advantage of double pay on all Biker Sell Missions through February 24th.

Unlock the Dinka Tee and Neon Stitch Emissive Mask

To celebrate the release of the Verus, get your brand coordination on point with the free Dinka Tee, awarded for playing at any point this week. Completing any Casino Work over the next seven days will also bag you the Neon Stitch Emissive Mask. Give Ms. Baker a call on your iFruit to get started, and come back after March 1st to receive your award (all awards should be delivered within 72 hours).

Trippin’ Out

Those who stray from the beaten path have reported sightings of rare Peyote Plants blooming in the wild, as well as hellish visions, beastly transformations, and far-out lessons about the meaning of life, man. Consume at your own risk.

Tripled Salaries for Associates and Bodyguards

With all these highfalutin operations going down on the mainland, these are good times to be a hired gun. SecuroServ is tripling Bodyguards and Associates’ salaries this week, so your palms will be greased accordingly.

I'll never complain over double pay for doing things I enjoy anyway, and the quad bike being free is all good for a goof about. Cheers @IceDree. 🍻

@Jimbatron This will help in your quest to get to 500

Thanks for the alert. Double RP on contact missions looks helpful.

My big Dilemma right now though is I’m five days off a 28 streak on the dailies, I know I need to do a Doomsday prep Saturday, and I have Act III loaded but no friends available. So unless I get lucky with randoms tomorrow morning, do I cancel the Heist to access a prep again? I guess I will have to, still I don’t like quitting stuff I started.

I had to do that when I got my 28-day award. It was annoying but worth it.

And then, about 5 months later, I accidentally (as in, unintentionally) hit my daily objectives 28 days in a row. I just had to laugh.

Nice. Just the other day I restarted all my biker businesses for no reason. Turns out it was psychic ability, lol.

Love me some contact missions and need a reason to finally try out the OWRs.

A very good event week all round have to say, lots of things I am going to try and certainly will be revisiting Contact Missions at some point.

I am a bit annoyed about the clothing rewards though, most of my characters never got the Rockstar Cap which I really wanted for a few outfit ideas I was thinking but at least they all have the t-shirt

which was the more important one.

Anyone any idea why the caps are being given to some but not everyone it seems?

I got lucky and managed to complete it with a random this morning. We had a lot of deaths (a couple down to me when I got careless on the final easy section), but fortunately I found someone who wasn’t a quitter. Lag was pretty horrendous, which always seems to increase the possibility of an insta kill.

Its all thanks to @Timsalabimbo’s excellent daily objectives guide. As a result of that I know “Complete a Doomsday Prep” is coming tomorrow, so I’ve been making an effort to clear the Act III finale I had saved in advance. If I hadn’t been forewarned about the objective cycle, I’d probably have had to bin my finale.

Any tips on what is the best for RP?

I notice Dispatch missions (which I’ve never actually done before) are on double as well as regular contact missions etc.

Not bothered about cash, just the RP.

Dispatch and Repo missions. The problem with Dispatch is that you need at least one other player to play with. You should also consider eating some Peyote plants. You'll get 5000 RP per eaten plant.

Thanks I didn’t know about the Peyote plants. Although I’ve played the game for years it’s mainly new heists that keep bringing me back - so I have a few knowledge gaps on things like that. 5k is pretty generous if they’re easy to find.

Trash Talk is a good contact mission for RP if you don't rush, and The Los Santos Connection solo is great too as it has lots of NPC's that'll give 50RP a pop, and it naturally takes a little time to play through so the RP for time taken is decent too plus you can really vary up what weapons/toys we use. Bit of a guilty pleasure to rattle the hangar with an explosive cannon *evil grin*. Any contact mission with plenty of NPC's are decent IMO.

If you've got an F1 car, and are confident in racing along with patient with the idiots it'll likely attract, getting top 3 places in 2x races is always a good bump. Be sure to add an extra lap or two to make the race last, ideally an 8 minute one and the RP really grows. Non contact too if you wanna just cruise against the noobs, lol.

Yes Trash Talk is an old favourite - easy in a weaponised air vehicle, and a high rank unlock which means slightly more RP.

The kill count in TLSC was something I hadn’t considered actually, might need to give that a try again.

Too bad you can't store this kind of vehicle in an MC Clubhouse, unlike other quad bikes such as the Blazer.

Here's one for the nerds - what was the last cheapest vehicle before this?

Actual price I mean, not free or discounted.
