JaeDan 101
I created this thread to share how long and when you play video games. I play on my PC at 6PM-8PM I play on my PS3 at 10:30AM/11AM-3PM/6:30AM Mostly I play longer on weekends because its my break from my work. I only play sometimes on my PS3 on weekdays, and I play on PC always on weekdays How about you? Edited February 18, 2021 by JaeDan
TheSantader25
Mostly 3-4 times a week based on my schedule from 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM. I enjoy gaming at any time except the late afternoon though. I just don't feel it's right at that time for some reason. The early morning gaming is pretty tasty from time to time as well. Mister Pink
I have less time to game now and usually tired in the evening, so sometimes I crave something more passive like YouTube or Netflix. Also, I have many other hobbies that I can and have monetised that supplement my income. So, I try prioritize my creative work because then I have something to show for it even if it doesn't earn me money immediately, I see it as a portfolio piece or whatever and hopefully it will land me work in the future. Because of this, it's now harder to prioritize gaming over earning potential and not just earning potential but being creative and productive in general. That's the backstory about my lack of gaming time. I still watch and look at gaming news every day. I probably spend more time thinking of gaming that I do actual gaming. So lately, I spend 1-2 hours on an evening. Not much at all. My favourite gaming sessions are the ones where I just have breakfast and I've had a good night's sleep and I've done all the important things and I've a free day. I play early when I'm feeling fresh-headed and can play for 10 hours. But those hours in the afternoon knowing I've no other commitments or pressing issues and I'm stuck into a huge title like RDR2, I'm in heaven. I think with my more busier schedule, I'll try allocate a set day/time to game. Sounds good in theory but gaming is very mood dependent for me and don't want for force it if I aint feeling it. LittleBlueTroll
I don't have anything remotely like a schedule. Lately I've been playing tonnes due to lockdown and there being nothing else to do. But when I'm at work, them days are a complete write off for any hobby. So gaming comes on my days off which also include anything else I have to get done. Usually, my gaming sessions come during the evening of my days off work, and it's a few games of Warzone with my friends, more a social thing. If there is a game I'm really excited for, I always leave playing it until I'm on annual leave, when I can really dive in. I'm really my own worst enemy though, because sometimes If I have a spare couple of hours, I'll avoid a game I want to play because I don't consider it "enough time" and I'll end up watching stuff on YouTube. paperbagdude
I usually play on my PS4 around 8 PM when I'm done with my daily schedule, including homework, lab preparations and dinner. EGA_6, Mister Pink, JaeDan 101 and 1 other
Standard Deluxe 59
I generally don't get on till after 10 pm and will stay on for two to four hours. Of course if I'm doing the latter I probably have a drink in my hand as the fun fades away pretty quickly after an hour and a half but I find alcohol makes games fun again.
