I currently only have 200k

and I want to buy 2 types of jet planes, some nice cars, flying motorcycle with rocket launcher, hangar for planes, that thing you need to modify military vehicles from cache and carry

how much do I need? at least 13 million? how do I go from 200k to 13 million? missions pay so sh*t. I can't believe a hard mission that takes a long time pays only 15k

btw I don't understand what "ceo" and "vip" and all that sh*t is. I also don't know what "heist" and what "setup" is or how to start them. what is the difference between "setup" and "heist"

any tips?

f*ck you, rockstar

making money have never been easier, dont get how people still make this type of threads.

just play with friends, make them heist, once you make atleast 3 million, buy a kosatka and start making easy millions.

i have made over 41 millions, my kids play casually with me and they have done over 20 million 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nothing earns money faster than doing the Cayo Perico Heist. Your first goal should be to save up the 2.2m you need to buy the Kosatka submarine, then get the Sparrow helicopter with missile upgrades as soon as you can afford it. Don’t buy the other sub upgrades until you have more money, they’re not necessary.

Once you’ve got that you can easily clear 1m an hour solo. Just check out some guides on how to do the heist properly. You’ll earn money so fast you’ll very quickly get the funds to buy whatever you want.

Dont invest serious money first in vehicles or other businesses, you need to invest what cash you have in the submarine to boost your earning potential.

VIP work can be accessed from the interaction menu - register as a VIP then under the VIP menu. Sightseer is the easiest for a low rank player, steal a helicopter from the docks landing pad or the airport first to get around the map quickly. Headhunter is also an option but will be a little bit more time consuming unless you steal a Buzzard. Should be 20-25k for 5 min work so they’ll pay better than missions but there is a cool down before you can do them again.

You might consider buying a 200k high end apartment to launch your own original heists. If you complete them all in order you get a 1m bonus and 100k for completing each finale, just don’t accept invites from other players to avoid breaking the order. Add the finale payouts to that and you’ll have enough money to buy the sub. The only catch is you’ll need three other players to start and some randoms are hopeless. You can put the setups on normal / easy though, just put the finale on hard to get the bigger payout. Again, check out some video guides on how to do the original heists effectively (Fleeca, Prison Break, Humane Labs, Series A Funding and Pacific Standard). In particular, buy a heist heavy combat suit and select player saved outfits in the heist setup screen. Still amazes me the vast majority of players do not know to do this.

Go on call for either the Casino or Cayo Perico heists using your phone. The preps are all done in free mode so these will take you to the finale, where even a low cut will net you a few 100k. Just remember the host did all the work setting it up so don’t expect them to pay you more than 15-20%.

The above is assuming you’re acting as a lone wolf. It’s much easier to get off the ground if you have established friends who can help you. If none of your real life friends play the game, try to make some as you play. Join heists when you get invites, talk to the host, and follow their advice. For example some new players helped me with my DD Act III set ups (I did the heavy lifting, but you need two players to start). As a reward I invite them to my Cayo Perico finale and payed them 50%, netting them about 700k for 10 minutes work. That’s because they listened and did what I asked in the setups. If they were a bunch of numpties who didn’t communicate I wouldn’t have given them anything.

Buy a submarine and a cheap biker clubhouse (but no biker businesses), you have no criminal starter pack? Do bounty huntings, the movie props, the serial killer quest and missions, since you are new to the game, they are at least fun for a while, join Casino missions, they pay out very well for the first time.

If you are actually a new player to GTA the Perico Heist might not be that easy, but the other heists are more difficult and pay much less.

BTW I still have not figured out how to register as a VIP, is VIP related to Securoserv or the Casino?

VIP is through securoserv in the interaction menu, there is also VIP membership of the casino which is totally different, you get that free with the Penthouse, without it you need to pay a small fee to access the music locker, use the lucky wheel etc. Not worth forking out for the Penthouse until you have lots of money though IMHO.

VIP is just CEO when you don't own an office. It gives you access to CEO missions (Sightseer etc.) and other perks such as insta-spawn vehicles. It used to be time limited, affected by cooldowns, and had a requirement of $1million in the bank, although I think these have been scrapped over the years.

Have you ever done a heist before? I'd recommend doing one as you'll gain more money.

Does this mean with office I can't become VIP since I didn't find this option in the Securoserv menu?

Yes you can become a VIP if you don’t have an office. When you’ve got one VIP is replaced by CEO. You used to need 50k in your bank to be able to register as a VIP not sure if that is still the case, but maybe that’s why the option isn’t there for you.

Here's a solo money making guide I made that will help. Bear in mind that it's still in progress of being updated.

hmm...  The OP wants to buy jets, an Oppressor Mk2 and weaponised vehicles - and has no idea about how to make money in the game...?  That usually (but not always) describes a potential griefer.

In regards to making money, as the others have said, you can start off by doing the treasure hunts (You'll get a notification through the phone for them) if you haven't already done them), if you find a buzzard fly about looking for the signal jammers.  There's also a handful of vehicles that might spawn around the map and the free-mode challenges / business battles which could earn you a few bucks.
When you can afford it, start VIP work - the fastest ones you can do are headhunter and sightseer and you should hopefully be able to alternate between the two of those until you have enough for the Submarine without upgrades - then keep doing the Cayo Perico Heist.

For the heist itself, you're fastest getting in via the drainage tunnel (It'll need scoped out - swim underwater beside the compound on the south of the island to find it) - and you can circle round avoiding most of the guards to get into the basement - you'll only need to shoot a handful - and for the exit you don't even need to leave the compound by road - just nab one of the bikes that'll appear right ahead of you if you exit the compound by the main gate, head off to the left and head into the sea - once you're far away enough from the island the mission will complete.  Once you know what you're doing the heist itself will only take a few minutes.  The preps will take up far more of your time.

This, he’s also been spamming the board with pointless topics like this one:

Some people are just make a mess wherever they go by instinct - freemode sessions, Internet forums, wherever they are, they’ll f*ck things up without really thinking about it.

Seeing as you claim to be level 206 and have a 9.0 kd in another spam post on here, your obviously a griefer with money management skills as low as your pathetic ability to start flame wars.

Go home kid. This forum is for adults.

@ OP, I can't believe your other topic was only locked instead of deleted, but you should be ashamed of your lowly 9.08K/D. I expect better from a Lazer griefer, at least over 9000. I am really disappointed with you.

Your friend's stats are impressive. You probably have no idea what it takes to get LSPD tint on all guns. If you're both on the ground, you won't make a scratch on him before he kills you, over and over.

As for making money, go buy shark cards. Someone has to pay for the next DLC and GTA 6.

it used to be 1 million, then they lowered to 100k if not mistaken then they lowered that to the current 50k requirement.

Do Contact Missions. This week has the whole double rp and money going for all of them so its a easy way to make money. Then if you ever get to the point where you can buy a penthouse apartment at the Casino, do so.

Once you buy a penthouse you can then purchase up to 50k chips.

Over the last few days I've just stuck to that method and it's making me a ton of money.

Buy 50k chips at the Casino in my apartment, then go do some contact missions to make that 50k and more back, then later on go back to the Casino and buy another 50ks worth of chips. If you do this constantly the money will add up very nicely. I currently have over a million dollars in Casino Chips right now with no plans to cash out any time soon.

Getting to contact missions is easy if you don't know how.

  • Just get to free mode
  • Pause the game and scroll over to Online
  • Click Jobs
  • Click Play Job
  • Click Rockstar Created
  • Click Missions
  • Then choose any of the contact missions from that list and you're set.

Once you complete 1 contact mission you'll be able to start up another one right away from the choices given to you. Pick 1 and then keep it going for as long as you want. It still pays rather decently even when it's not a double rp and money week for them. Also keep an eye out for other missions being double or even triple rp and money.

I don't race much but they pay out really well when you finish 1st or top 5 if i'm not mistaken. Survivals pay really well too if you're good enough to last in that, they all do.

Murder hookers for their money every night. This is the best money making method no one wants to talk about. I’ve been playing since the beginning and I’m already at $200K!!!!

Well you don't even know how to register as a vip?

With vip challenges and missions you can make a quick buck while causing mayhem.

I won't explain. Perhaps you the predestined shark card buyer

Three options:

- Have no life

- Treat this game like a job or school work and plan it out/cumulate it over time... how is this fun?

- Glitch

Life is short. Choose the latter.
