Is there a difference between choosing freemode or pressing the quit button on the next job screen?

After a mission ends, and the next job screen displays, sometimes I choose freemode and sometimes I just hit O to exit... But when I "quit" it adds an extra prompt asking me if I'm sure... In the end it still looks like it takes me back into a random public lobby. It's not a problem, but more of a curiosity. Is there actually any difference in how the game sends me back into freemode when I do this?

It's a good question, it's something I've never really thought about.

It probably just loads you into another session. The only other thing I was going to say was:

• Quitting attempts to load you into the session type you came from (Public / Solo / Invite-Only / Closed Friends, etc) before you started the job;
• Voting for Freemode does the same as quitting if you're the only person playing;
• If playing with others and at least two voted for Freemode, you'll be put into a Public session with the game attempting to place all players that voted for Freemode, into that session. 

I dunno though.

Quitting the voting screen instead of voting for free mode gets you BS points the same as quitting an actual mission or job? Can anyone verify this?

I quit the voting screen like 90% of the time, and do nothing but griefing in freemode. You're safe my dude, never been bad sport

If you vote for freeroam and I'm having a piss so don't vote, I'll end up in freeroam too.

 

If an AFK player is annoying you, you can pull them into freeroam this way.

Yes, there is a difference. If you quit, it doesn't affect the outcome of the vote.

Quitting puts you back into a random freemode session, sometimes your previous one.

Voting freemode puts you back into another freemode session, together with everyone else who voted freemode.

If too many people vote freemode, and freemode wins the vote, the job ends and everyone will be put into freemode

 

As for bad sport points, you shouldn't get them for quitting on the vote screen. You only get them for quitting while the job is going on.

Quitting at the restart screen of a failed job also shouldn't get you bad sport, unless you quit too late and it was just restarting.

If you vote freemode, you will keep your Job Points. If you back out, your Job Points reset to zero.

...Im sure we talked about this some years ago...this option does have an effect, too

And fun when you and friends with 16+ people go to freemode after a job, and dumbstar decides to not make a new lobby. Instead the game will seek out like a 22 person lobby lul, and 8 of you will go to the freemode together and all the other players will be put in their own invite only lobby. 

 

Even more fun when you quit and the game puts you into your previous lobby, the game suddenly goes oh sh*t, we cant let them have that public lobby by yourself, f*ck you go back to cloud simulator. 

 

And speaking of something else, its fun when your crew and crewleader as host plays a job a few times in a row, than your leader host gets tired and leaves. Do you think the game will 

A make the winner of the race be host

B make someone in the same crew be host, preferably the next highest rank

or 

C F*ck your entire crew, f*ck who won, were going to make a level four-f*cking-teen who isn't even in a crew, who can't afford a f*cking faggio, and only owns a nerf f*cking gun, the f*cking host. Who proceeds to turn off custom cars and everyone f*cking leaves...........................................................

AFAIK "remain host after vote screen" will stop your lobby joining an existing one for the next event, that's about it.
