Script Hook V file is a "corrupt archive"

I was trying to update my scripthook V and when i tried replacing it my Winrar said that scripthookv.dll is a corrupt archive.  I tried redownloading it etc but it still wouldn't work.

The download is just a .Zip so you should be able to open it without using Winrar.

 

Just re-read your post, you can't unzip the dll file.

You just need to open the zip, which you don't need winrar for because Windows supports zip files and copy the two dll files from the bin folder into your game folder.

Just re-read your post, you can't unzip the dll file.

I opened it in file explorer and whenever i try moving it into my GTA directory it says that a unexpected error happens

Check that your antivirus isn't deleting the dll file when you open the zip.

 

Best way is to create a folder, add that folder as an exclusion in your AV and copy the scripthookv.zip into there before you open it.

 

Edit: Also check if the dll is locked by Windows, extract the zip into a safe folder, right-click each dll and go to Properties, check if there is an Unlock option.

Tried it but it says a unspecified error and it gets stuck at 95% when i try again
