JaeDan 101 Posted February 14, 2021 Share Posted February 14, 2021 Hi there, I'm really enjoying playing RDR: Undead Nightmare by shooting zombies, horseback riding and shooting survivors in Fort Mercer if I don't have enough ammo to survive. I got one question, where or how do I get some snake oil? For those who don't know what is a snake oil, its actually a potion or whatever that refills your Dead Eye meter. There's no particular place to find it, just randomly you'll sometimes get some snake oil/chewing tobacco/medicine or other items instead of ammo - I think it's most common when you do tasks or open chests in random events or when you find a treasure chest with the treasure maps. Snake oil and other items are VERY rare though. Basically you can't count on having them and have to get to used to playing without them and save any you get for when you really really need them. But luckily in Undead Nightmare deadeye tends to refill quite fast on its own since getting headshots makes it refill and you're heashotting zombies all the time. Does that include snake oil etc or is it just ammo? I always stop playing soon after the end of the story so I'm not sure. I feel like having fully stocked snake oil, chewing tobacco, medicine etc is never a thing though, if memory serves me right.
