Completely agree! I just think the goal is to have it out for the anniversary, similar to the 10th anniversary mobile ports. Everything is being delayed by the pandemic, so yeah it's entirely possible, if not likely that it gets delayed.

I would be more than okay with just GTA III this year (assuming its a Mafia style remake)

imo business-wise it would make more sense to release a trilogy remake/remaster step-by-step, first gta 3 then vc then sa, and ofc in the end a triple bundle

you could sell every game for a higher price at its release, and people get more hyped and pay longer attention to this

That could be the case, and I wouldn't be surprised knowing T2 how they can be that they actually do it like that. Imagine if they sell them each for 40/60eur/usd, that's like 120/180eur/usd for a whole trilogy ( If they turn out to be total remakes ). 

 

Obviously, as a consumer I'd prefer they do the EA Game route they are doing right now with Mass Effect Trilogy, 60eur/usd for all three games in one package.

I think they would do that if the 3 games were ready

 

Even on the PS Store you can buy the classic trilogy for a reduced cost, so personally I think they could do that again

I mean they did released the original games there why not remasters or remakes?

I don't really see the need for another mobile port. Those are supposed to be a sort of remastered edition. At least San Andreas's port.

When your game breaks because of single player mods and you have to reinstall your game. I've done that so many times.

Only want it like the trilogy mostly for nostalgia reasons but it could work like this too. Maybe have the digital version like IV complete edition where you could switch games on the spot. Then have the disc version like the trilogy for Og fans.

Lol that's the reason i buy most of my games twice.

One disk one digital.

So i don't have to get up and swap the damn disc. It's exactly like you said, a nightmare

I'm all digital. But I need a physical copy of Rockstar games for the map, etc.

Rockstar games in particular as worth getting both digital and disc, just for the map.

It's a shame almost no one does these things anymore.

Now we just get a disc, not even an instruction manual.

I still have the original VC manual and regularly check it out. The tourist guide format was the most creative idea for a manual.

(Runner up would be Saints Row 1 manual. Not gonna spoil it for you but it's written by a story character, basically from his POV. Amazing stuff)

Hope they include the map on Vi.

While I think what Zello says may be true, I don't understand why Nintendo Switch games cases are big as they are then, I mean, you don't get anything inside beside a game cartridge. You don't get any manual or any sort of goodies to read. Their cases may be smaller than PS/Xbox/PC cases, but, it's still unnecessary empty space.

Yeah absolutely. Closest thing to these manuals and whatnot we have today are strategy guides which Rockstar games still seem to get physically. Hopefully they will keep making them for the future games too. Though I am not sure if they are as interesting as they were back in the day, I haven't read the RDR2 one.

Bradygames strategy guides of older GTAs, III trilogy in particular, were done for a version of a game that is a bit different in some aspects to the final game. It shows that Rockstar always changed some things at the last minute. It's a very interesting read if you are into the pre-release information about Rockstar games.

Digital is convenient, but PlayStation store charging £70 for games when the disc games can be 15% lower is a big no from me.

Same thing happened across both consoles at the start of the previous generation. It's a trade off.
