T2 & Rockstar can't not stop modders from moding the game. I admit that the re3&reVC filles are backup on github and othere site if the code are on the Intenet that they noting can do with that.

Bullsh*t. Assuming clean-room design was adhered to (and I'm sure it was) then none of the code, while functionally comparable, was theirs and Take2 just filed a false (and arguably illegal) DMCA takedown against someone else's IP. Reverse engineering efforts like these are protected under the law.

I wasn't giving my own opinion about the reason, just that it was taken down. If it was taken down we're not allowing redistribution here period. It's up to the mod makers to pursue that.
