Mutsor Tima
I'm a little curious, but there's a prep mission where you have to eliminate three of El Rubio's arms dealers in order to ensure his guards have weaker weapons when doing the Cayo Perico Heist itself. So far, the GTA Wiki article doesn't explains such effects as of yet, and all I know is that without doing this prep, at least one of the guards will be wearing ballistic armor and wielding a minigun, whereas if all three arms dealers are taken out, the guards will be wielding Mini SMGs and SNS Pistols. But my ultimate question about this is, what weapons do El Rubio's guards hold if you take out just 1 or 2 arms dealers? Taterman

If you go in via stealth and disguises what weapons the guards wield is irrelevant cause they would never get the chance to use them. You can basically skip all the disruption missions cause they only come into play if the alarm is raised. Just equip one of the disguises you scouted earlier and it puts the whole heist on easy mode. I think it reduces the amount of light machine guns carried by the guards, taking out 2 arms dealers means only a few have light machine guns. I'm not sure about it though. smurfynz
The Heavy Gunner in the compound is unaffected by this and the armor prep mission, he will always be armed and armored the same. All 3 down definitely leaves them with Mini-SMG and SNS Pistols. https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/El_Rubio's_Private_Security we've cited those circumstances here. I never play it loud so don't usually see what they end up equipped with, so I haven't bothered testing (yet anyway) 1 2 3 option impacts on the wiki. It is on my to-do list, but pretty well down it.
