Claiming a lost Lucky Wheel Spin

So I just learnt that the Lucky Wheel Spin seems to only give a very short amount of time to select a garage for the car.

 

I won the Enus Paragon R Armoured on the 9th Feb 21 as the attached video link shows but it seems the game 'timed out' and I didn't get the chance to replace the car in the garage with my prize.

 

 

Do R* give out cars if I make a claim for the Paragon R Armoured, not fussed if I don't get it but it's the first time I ran out of time to claim the prize and I really did want to have it...

 

Any advice is appreciated!

I've never heard of Rockstar awarding lucky wheel prizes through support tickets, but you've at least got video evidence if you wanted to take up the matter with them.

I did try a support ticket but even though I included the above video I got the stock response 'We are unable to verify your loss..."

 

So I guess that's that!

Wow. Classy, Rockstar.  How hard would it be to check your account and see if you have one? You literally have video proof that you won it.  I wonder if you file another ticket if maybe someone else would look at it.  I've had them award cash in place of a vehicle once when I logged on during a holiday where a car was supposed to be made free to a player. They were able to track down that I did indeed login that day and awarded the cash to purchase the vehicle.

The problem here is there no 'website' equivalent for the Armoured Paragon R since you have to have the Penthouse and do Ms Baker's Casino Missions which my male character has neither since he don't have

a Casino Penthouse so can't do the missions.

 

I might try another ticket and see but I am not fussed because my girl character did get the car just she won't use it too often!

TL-DR: Keep trying & stay friendly to the Tier1 support idiots while you wait on them to escalate the ticket to somebody less useless, if they say no then dont accept that & if they close the ticket then just make another (but stay friendly)

 

Spoiler

The problem:

- Looking at the video they cant easily verify that its you, that video could be anybody's character, in the future when something like this happens make sure to at the least show the pause menu-online-players list (so they can see your username at the top) or even better if you can show the R* social crap overlay

- Its kind of obvious that you 'know the timing', this could be interpreted as "looks like this player is using a script" and this might end up working against you, but for most of the more useful support people (tier2 and up) it should be fine.

The solution:

- Like most of the time, the trick will be to both "keep your foot down" and be friendly, just keep explaining the same thing and how you cant accept no for an answer & they will escalate it to Tier2 support, thats where you will get actual help.

- They can still verify its you, they just have to put in a little bit of actual effort (open your account and look at your garages, compare those to video) but a tier1 level support is never going to do that, those tier1 people get told to 'handle' as much tickets as possible each day. Wich is why you need to keep your foot down and hope you get escalated to tier2 support quickly, those people get told to actually solve issues & make bug reports for R*
