My favorite theme songs are from Vice City and The Lost and Dammed, if I had to choose, it would be the TLaD one. It's one of the best themes in the series, in my opinion. I also really like the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City one. To be honest, I really like all of them. The one I really don't like is the Grand Theft Auto V one, even though it's not too bad. Anyways, I'd say that the Grand Theft Auto IV is the best one, because why not. 1. Grand Theft Auto IV 2. Then again, it was released in 1997. And I just love the GTA 1 soundtrack in general. close second would be GTA VC and third would be GTA London, in terms of soundtrack. I'm a sucker for old music. This doesn't mean I don't like future GTA games themes or osts, far from it. I like GTA 3, VC, SA, etc... They all have their own fantastic themes and music. I understand you man, I usually don't base things on nostalgia, but if I did, I would put the San Andreas theme at the top on everything, no doubt. VCS The IV and VC themes honestly have the most emotional weight to them for me, with the IV one being both nostalgic and fitting the game's mood sorta perfectly, but I have to pick LCS over all of them for just being that catchy. I can see why III's theme has a special place in lots of people's hearts too, but to me it just... does nothing.
