CryptReaperDorian 198
Officially released, that'd be GTA Advance and the two London expansions for the first game. GTA London 1961 is the only one of those I have never played. (It's PC exclusive and download only, requiring both the first GTA and GTA London 1969 to install.) Otherwise, there were a few cancelled GTA games. Race'n'Chase (the prototype for the first game), GTA 64 (N64 port of the first game), and the mysterious GTA Online Crime World (a very early online multiplayer attempt in 1999) are the ones that I know of. GTA III was also going to have a multiplayer mode, but that was scrapped with some remnants left in the game files. AllNightLong

FalconKing 1,220
I would say GTA London '69, London '61 and Advance. The former two were expansion pack for the original GTA title and latter being an obscure Gameboy Advance title released around the same time as San Andreas in 2004. I think a lot of non hardcore fans tend to forget about the Stories games and Chinatown Wars as well so there's that. Edited February 11 by FalconKing AllNightLong
Eugene H. Krabs 2,592
London 1961 since it's just a hard-to-find PC exclusive. Rightfully so anyway, because the timed missions (which may as well be all of the missions) are hell on earth Edited February 11 by Eugene H. AllNightLong 35
The GameBoy Color versions of GTA1 and 2 are the most unknown from my experience. I remember saying in YouTube comments (to those kids arguing about which GTA is the worst and which is legendary) that these two are much worse than Advance because of the amount of glitches in them (eg. in GBC GTA2, there's no way to complete some missions because you get softlocked) and that they're very limited compared to GTA Advance, but it seemed like no one ever heard of GBC GTAs. Agreed. The strangest thing is that for some reason the GBC GTA 2 has multiple protagonists as well as the first one. AllNightLong

Algonquin Assassin 51,115
GTA 2 on Sega Dreamcast. Almost everyone I know remembers the 2D era GTAs being on PS1, PC and GBC, but rarely does anyone acknowledge the Dreamcast version of GTA 2.
