The Game Boy Color soundtrack - 8-bit versions of real songs

While playing the GBC version of GTA 2 recently, I've recognized one of the menu songs as a Brazilian song (Chega de Saudade by Tom Jobim). After searching the GBC soundtrack of the game, I noticed that all songs are 8-bit versions of real songs, such as Michael Jackson's "Bad" and AC/DC's "Back in Black". The Game Boy Color version of the first GTA also features 8-bit versions of Elvis Presley's songs.

 

The songs I could indentify so far:

 

Grand Theft Auto:
Car Song 1 -> "Blue Suede Shoes" by Elvis Presley

Car Song 5 -> "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley

 

Grand Theft Auto 2:

Insert Password Menu -> "Blue Suede Shoes" by Elvis Presley (featured in the previous Game Boy Color game)

Character Select Menu -> "Chega de Saudade" by Tom Jobim

Car Song 3-> "Back in Black" by AC/DC (2x speed)

Car Song 4-> "I Got You (I Feel Good)" by James Brown

Car Song 7 -> "Bad" by Michael Jackson

Car Song 9 -> "Le Freak" by Chic

Nice finding. I would have never guessed both songs from Elvis. Question tho: have you found any other song since you wrote the post? I'm interested on this topic. We should ask someone professional on 8bit music and see if he can guess at least some of the songs remaining.
