donnits Posted January 28, 2021 Share Posted January 28, 2021 (edited) DOWNLOAD I made a custom radar for GTA 4 in Photoshop, split into layers for each part of the map. It's not perfect, the aliasing is bad and I didn't take elevation into account for the roads, but I think the .psd deserves to be downloaded. You can change the colors of the layers to make your own map, save the entire thing as a PNG and use JConvert2Radar to split it into 512px map images. Then, you can use OpenIV to replace radar.img files and use your custom map in-game. Have you thought about doing a Google Maps Night/Dark mode version? The colours they use for that seems the closest to the IV/V PC style. The deal is that I'm trying to make a radar.img out of every map you made then upload it to GTAInside and such (if you're ok with that), I came across this topic yesterday when I was looking for a radar mod for GTA IV, thank god I scrolled down even further than I normally would to find this, because a lot of people who play IV don't know about this yet, and if they do, they wouldn't wanna go through the tideous process of cutting the image into 144 parts and importing it to the game, I've already modded map files in GTA SA, and it's slightly easier to do so in IV, so yeah uploading the content would be greatly appreciated Edited January 20, 2022 by Nick Gerse donnits 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
