I strongly disagree -- at least when it comes to the older stuff. She's Lost Control, Down On The Street, Age Of Consent, Human Fly, This Is The Day, Nightclubbing, Faceless are all in their respective band's top tier. Eisbär, Typical Girls are these bands most popular singles. However, personally when it comes to Iggy Pop I would have included a song from his album New Values, which I like better than The Idiot; and I would have preferred Der Mussolini from DAF, and Do The Du from A Certain Ratio instead of the actual choices. But if I was selecting music for an alternative/indie rock station it would have come out very different anyway. (*cough* Unwound *cough*)

@SummerFreeze I mean opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one :).

I might have came out a tad bit negative, but in my personal opinion almost all of these are definitely not the first songs that come to your mind when you think of all of these acts. And don't get me wrong, I think they are great songs, but stacking the song line-up against the other rock radios from GTA series, like LSRR, LRR (both from IV and EFLC), RadioX, KDST or VRock, that feature crème de la crème that many of the artist have in their catalogue, KULT kinda falls flat. Maybe of they didn't try to push 5 f*ckin radio station in the Cato Perico (I'm counting FlyLo and Worldwide updates as sperate station here, because they definitely added this much content to both) we would have gotten much stronger line up, because the licenses for oldies are much more expensive.

Also, something that Ive forgotten about the KULT that annoys me are the bumpers, or rather the lack of variety in them. It feels like Julian Casablancas recorded like 5 minutes of stuff and run with the money. The truth is that someone at R* f*cked up and in the game files there is a sh*t ton of unused bumpers from Julian, Marc and David Cross. Someone just forgot to properly script them to be played on the radio...

It is something that can be patched out however, but yeah, Rockstars jank at its finest...

But imagine if someone criticized Los Santos Rock Radio for including Queen's "Radio Ga Ga" instead of "Bohemian Rhpasody", The Small Faces's "Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake" instead of "Itchycoo Park", and so on; or for Channel X, Black Flag's "My War" instead of "Rise Above", for Non-Stop-Pop FM, Jamiroquai's "Alright" instead of "Virtual Insanity" / "Cosmic Girl". I could go on. As long as it's a Top 10 song in the band's repertoire, I think it's fine.

 

My vote has nothing to do with track selection though; I just find RRLS a very boring station, and while I like LSUR less in general that doesn't seem to be stopping other rock fans from downvoting KULT.
