I'm a bit surprised that many of you haven't explored K.U.L.T. FM a bit more. I'm not talking about elimination - who cares, it's just a game - but the content from this old-style music that is so refreshing in these days of tagged on dance and hip-hop music due to cheap licensing. KULT isn't perfect, but it's a totally new radio station with amazing artists such as Joy Division, New Order, The Strokes, The Ramones and The Velvet Underground...

As a rock head it might surprise you, but I disagree, KULT is hella weak station. Although it features big names, almost all of the songs are their B Tier material. What's surprising is that the more newer stuff is probably the stronger then the oldies. I will gladly take the songs from Mac DeMarco, Promise Land or Ariel Pink over So It Goes or Nightclubbing. Also I totally dont get the inclusion of 3 classic hiphop tracks. I wouldn't mind them if there was a Playback FM or something like that added on top of the radios added in the Cayo Perico update, but on KULT they stick out like  a sore thumb.

 

Also, before you accuse me of not giving it a proper listen - I did. In fact, (partially) due to this elimination I give a listen for all of the radio stations in GTA V... and then the rest of the GTA's series soundtrack.

I love old school hip hop, in fact I had been listening to InI "Center of Attention" while making my vote.

 

But the music taste of the voters in this game is pretty apparent by now, and trying to save WCC when it was at 2 votes with the next closest station at 18 was a lost cause.

 Invalid voting. Sorry @Betsy you have to have been a member for 2 weeks to vote. Also you seem to have added +2. You can add 1 to any option, and subtract  2 from one option, or subtract 1 from 2 different options. For future reference if you would like to play when eligible. Also @wangsparkinglot not sure if you were aware but @TandyBR did deduct 2, he killed WCTR, he just didn’t show it.

I find Kult FM too eclectic, would prefer radio stations to stick to genres that are more closely related to each other. Maybe if it was exclusively classic indie rock station, I'd have been more supportive of it.
