Broken "push-to-release" hub element in a keep case

Recommended Posts

I have bought on the Internet several used Rockstar Games for PS3 and PS4 (GTA, RDR, Max Payne). Unfortunately, when I opened some of them, it turned out that the disc was not in place during shipping because one of the hub elements was broken (disc was not visually damaged). As you know, there are various kinds of "push-to-release" hubs in keep cases, ie. those with 2 elements and those with 3 elements (https://ibb.co/sg1PKCn). What should I do? Is there a way to fix it? Or should I just ignore it because now the games are going to just lie on the shelf in peace only. I would rather not replace keep cases with new ones because that way my collection becomes not 100% original.

I don't think there is any method to repair them. It's only plastic, so it's complicated. I think the best thing would be to replace the cases. I can't think of a better method, but if you prefer to keep them because your collection won't be 100% original, that's not a good solution.

You know, who says that they are original cases if they are used games? Haha 😄

I don't think there are any particular details on the cases than other games, except for steelbooks or coloured cases.

You could replace them with original PS3 cases in better condition.
