Finding it really hard to play

Havent played this game in almost a year, i only logged on to keep my streak of buying the season passes but this update came with damn near nothing new. Im finding it really hard to progress the season pass or to even play when theres literally nothing new.

Currently, constantly having the gold cores (camp stew/seasoned big game, etc.) going away makes it

hard for me to want to play.

 

I'm on Xbox One, where it has been doing that constantly for a couple of weeks nearly. Someone else said

it was doing it a lot on PC before.

 

It seems to happen when you  merge with another lobby, or something (that is what they said.)

 

It is just very lame; I eat stew at camp, fully buff, then ride out to do something and I suddenly have

all white cores/no buffs like I just started the game again. If they played their game, they'd notice

this and fix it ASAP.

 

As you mention, I only logged in today and did the bare minimal "easy ones" just just keep up the streak for my 28th day.

those cores disappeared since the beta days...let's just be happy horse bonding worked after a year or so!

Maybe try to find a posse to play with. There are new bounty missions as well. Also there is a hardcore series if you don't like the normal showdown with tonics and ability cards.

There are legendary animal missions that help you progress as well, and legendary bounties give tons of XP.

 

Or just come back later, unless you want to rank up Outlaw Pass 4 of course. Then you have time until March 15th. Simply doing dailies should help you progress as well.

Well it seems the most sensible thing to do it not play. Why force yourself to play a game you're not enjoying?

This started happening out of nowhere for my posse and I just last week. I think they did something in tunables that f*cked them up. We should create support tickets.

Switching us from full lobby to solo lobby and back to full lobby is the reason for core's dropping out of gold state. IMO

 

Watch for message about network issue in top left screen on XB1.

I haven't made it 1/2 way through the pass yet.

I dont play lol I obviously said i find it hard to play, i only came back when the outlaw pass dropped to buy it but stopped playing after that. Dont assume dude

I wanted the wilderness camp travel feature on all my accounts.

Grinded three of those passes and all roles on one.

I'm glad it's over.

Not another pass!

New bounties and doing Red Ben legend Will speed it up by a lot due to all the enemies

A remedy, that works for me, is limited gameplay. Nowadays, no more than 2 1/2 hours (the length of a good western).

Ok. Same rule should apply though. If you're find it hard to play then don't. I'm not really sure of the point of the post. You weren't asking for help or advice to make the game more fun so maybe you should have just posted in bitch and moan instead.

If you are just bitching then there is a bitching thread. If you create your own special thread normal and helpful forum members assume you need advice or motivation to play. Otherwise... just don't play.

Lols, it has been a couple years since I've bothered to do that (since it never seemed to change anything...) 

I'd have to figure out how to do it again 

 

I think I did back in the early days, a couple times when a trader delivery did not give me money due to disconnects;

never got refunded, then it seemed to stop happening so I never bothered again.

I asked for 80$ bonus back in the beta days the game didn't grant me. 

The R* Support dude actually gave me 80 Gold Bars instead lmfao

 

This was the best mistake they made, and it was during the beta days, when gold was actually more valuable haha @Krommer

 

But R* Support nowadays is more sh*t and harsh. My brother had prime gaming but still needed to pay for the Bounty Hunter license. He waited a full week but it was still 15 gold. So he just pulled the trigger and bought it and then asked R support for a 15 Gold refund. 

 

The R Support guy had the most delusional and baffling answer you could imagine. He said "our data shows you got the license for free" lmao

When i used to play i used to grind moonshine sales and missions and trader sales while doing bounties in between. Im still puzzled as to why they would recycle the bounty hunter dlc instead of giving us something completely new like a fishing/boat dlc at the very least. For someone like me whos been playing since the original BH role released, it was a slap in the face. I think the way these ‘roles’ are now , it will ultimately be whats going to kill the game. Releasing one role at a time is not the way to go

I'm figuring that they aren't giving us any heavily scripted new content because they are not capable of doing so without it breaking the game for us. They can barely release simple additions to the game without it affecting something else in the game drastically.

Not someone like you. I think you mean you. Other people have different opinions and I think the bounty hunter change has been a lot of fun. It's made the role what it should have been from the start. I enjoy hunting down players with a bounty and the new legendary missions are fun too. For me the biggest slap in the face was the naturalist role. That has no place in the game. We have to hunt for meat to stay alive and often kill wolves and bears that come chasing after me. But if my horse so much as  runs over a squirrel accidentally, miss goody two shoes won't talk to be for the rest of the day.

Ok I agree, but that should have been in the BH role to begin with not a year later and act like its some new type of role when its just a small expansion. The naturalist role was shouldve been a fisherman role, the water is so underused.
