Filipowskyy
So, recently I installed Citroen C6 car to GTA SA, and I'm also using a car spawner. As soon as I spawn the modded car, and go back to game, the game freezes, and won't let me do anything. I could just sit here, and stare into my computer screen, and nothing would happen anyway. What should I do?
RealGoodKid
Try to Delete gta_sa.set in Documents>GTA San Andreas User Files>gta_sa.set and Delete it If that don't help then, Try Download another mods
LeatherJacketSoldier
Maybe the model is too detailed for your computer. Hell, I replaced the Rhino for a tank with caterpillars (didn't bother installing CLEO to make the caterpillars roll) with very high definition, and I can't get more than 3 Rhinos in screen (game crashes). 2 of them, and my sh*tty computer starts lagging like there's no tomorrow, and textures from the environment loaded beforehand, "un-load" when I turn the camera around, so they need to load again when I put the camera in the previous position. On top of that, if you replace dff and txd without modifying files like handling.cfg and carcols.dat (if needed by the mod), your model may get messy or even won't spawn at all, crashing your game in most cases. Probably, while you're waiting for the game to "de-freeze", if you press alt+tab maybe you'll find a window telling you something like "gta_sa.exe stopped working for a problem and closed correctly" (I don't know if it shows like that, my Windows is in spanish), and that way you'll save a lot of time. All of this, assuming you know well how to replace dff and txd (and rebuilding the archive, also), because there are many errors you can make if you're not doing properly, which I won't list here for the asumption made. ItzGettinFuggez
do you have the steam version cause using it will crash your game you may need to downgrade to 1.0 or 1.
