Algonquin Assassin 49,956
Haven’t seen a thread about this. I’ve actually owned one since 2012 and have three physical games. Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Silent Hill: Book Of Memories and Assassin’s Creed Liberation plus a few digital games. I don’t know anyone else who has one. Personally I think it’s a great little machine, but was probably released at the wrong time when mobile gaming was hitting its stride so I can understand why it didn’t do that well as Nintendo have always owned the hand held market anyway.
Pingley 669
I have it, i love it, but, I don't use it that much anymore. It's a pure shame how Sony handled the Vita, it could easily be better handled than Nintendo's 3DS ( spec wise it is technically ) but they've done ton of mistakes. Expensive storage cards, Piss poor 1st party support, crappy UI, etc. Nintendo maybe the king of handled market but that didn't stop Sony to have success with original PSP, so I could really see PSVita doing amazing only if Sony was smarter. Too bad we will probably never see a proper successor since it seems Sony pretty much ditched the handheld market and with everyone yelling cloud gaming is the future, shame.
Niobium 11,582
hell yes! sure sony abandoned it which is a pity, but if you jailbreak it and install homebrew then it's totally worth getting one. also, SD2VITA allows you to save your data on a standard microSD card, meaning you never have to worry about overpaying for proprietary storage ever again.

Zello 20,071
Third party support screwed it over. Hardly anyone made games for it. If R* made a GTA for it they would have probably given it more life. Edited February 14 by Zello
Original Light 1,017
I bought mine in June 2013, before I was about to go to a vacation/wedding in South Carolina with my parents. I was 16 at the time. It's still great to use on train trips or long car rides if you're a passenger. I have Assassin's Creed Liberation, GTA Liberty City Stories and GTA Vice City Stories on it. Those are the only games I ever had on it, and all I ever felt I needed. Edited February 14 by Original Light
NightmanCometh96 446
I tried giving the Vita a chance twice (shortly after the 1000 and 2000 models came out respectively) and sold it on both occasions, mainly due to the expensive memory cards and lackluster third party support. The third time was the charm, as I got my current 2000 around the time Henkaku was being released. Granted I still don't have many native Vita games, but the amount of games playable through a combination of Retroarch and Adrenaline make up for it to me. It has become my go-to handheld console entirely because of the incredible homebrew scene. It also makes for a great GTA machine. Officially you have LCS, VCS and CTW, but now you can also play III and VC, thanks to them being reverse-engineered. There's even a port of SA (based on the Android version) that is in the works. UPDATE: The SA port has been released! Spoiler That being said, it's an absolute travesty that Sony handled the Vita the way they did. They have no one to blame but themselves for its failure. Edited February 17 by NightmanCometh96 SA port has since been released
