I actually remember playing a lot of this game during the Red Dead Redemption pre-release hype. It was really good and this was peak Ubisoft before they became “Ubisoft” regurgitating the same bloody game with different I.Ps and micro transactions. Algonquin Assassin
2 minutes ago, RenegadeAngel said: BASED. One of my favorites as well. I'm not a fan of comic books, but this to me is, hands down, the best Batman piece ever, even more so than Nolan films. It was mind-blowingly impressive for its time in almost every way. I still remember being scared sh*tless when at one point in the story the game breaks the fourth wall and you play the intro as the Joker! And the graphics, and the story, and the acting, and the gameplay, and the atmosphere, and the soundtrack, and the cape physics... Damn, this game is practically flawless. Before this game I was never really into superhero games, but this is a masterpiece in every way IMO. I love the pseudo-horror like atmosphere and the free flow combat. The succeeding games while good never quite captivated me as much as Asylum. ThatBenGuy1998

Maxxeine
Some might disagree with this list, but I like what I like. 1. Red Dead Redemption 2 - My personal favorite Rockstar game, and the most beautiful virtual world I've ever experienced, hands down. 2. GTA IV - My personal favorite GTA, and the peak of Rockstar's city design (Liberty City). All characters are memorable. The story's themes of immigration and critical lens of the American dream are thought provoking. 3. Assassin's Creed II - Arguably the best of the franchise, and an actually good Ubisoft game. Soundtrack alone makes it a must play. Gorgeous open world. I have lots of memories of this game. 4. Saints Row 2 - One of the best open worlds in any game I've played, my favorite Saints Row, and one of my favorite games in general. 5. Stardew Valley - A newer game, but it's quickly become one of my most played in my library. A fun, peaceful, care-free game with memorable characters and a cute soundtrack. 6. Deus Ex: Human Revolution - My favorite Deus Ex (couldn't get into DX1). Arguably one of the best Cyberpunk worlds in gaming, if not the best. Amazing soundtrack. Adam Jensen is one of my favorite protagonists. 7. Skyrim - May be controversial, but I have hundreds of hours logged and I always find myself coming back, even after corrupting saves due to mods. Its world is beautiful and scope is endless. I love the soundtrack. 8. Max Payne 3 - One of Rockstar's most refined games. Great gameplay, killer good soundtrack by HEALTH. One of my most replayed games. 9. Fallout New Vegas - Classic RPG. My favorite Fallout. 10. L.A. Noire - I actually decided to replace Mafia 2 with LAN on this list after replaying it recently. Amazing game, so much detail, great soundtrack, and a rare example of a game taking place in the 1940s, which is a somewhat obscure era for games. Honorable mentions: Dead Space, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Mafia 2, Sleeping Dogs, Dishonored, Tomb Raider (2013), Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Alien: Isolation, Wolfenstein: The New Order, BioShock, Mirror's Edge, Beyond Good & Evil. sefus
1- Red Dead Redemption 2 (Flat out masterpiece, story is deep, with characters that feel like real humans, awesome gunplay, detailed as f*ck, beautiful landscape, LENNY, and RPG mechanics that give me a real SA vibe) 2- Red Dead Redemption (Beat this game maybe 5 times as a kid, still love it to this day, with its endless replayability, characters, general aesthetic, and of course Mr Marston. This is a must-play in my book) 3- Fallout: New Vegas (Best RPG in my eyes, comfy gameplay, radio, and setting, for a post apocalyptical hellhole, it sure is full of life. Good gunplay, with different ammo types and a million ways to play) 4- Doom 2 (The only game i can run on my laptop :'). Balls-to-the-walls hard, but fun as hell, Brutal doom, TNT, Plutonia, all amazing mods to an already amazing game, and is honestly better then the sh*tty new bethesda doom games) 5- Grand theft auto: San Andreas (Classic, pure classic, originally played it on the XBOX 360, nearly beat it, bought the physical copy as well as the arcade version, played it on PC for a while until i gave up due to confusing controls, and now i'm nearly done with it on PS4. A blast to play, amazing soundtrack, varied locations that never make it feel dull or bland, wide selections of vehicles and weapons to cause mayhem with, story that zigs and zags more then a bendy straw, but still is deep, and won't be forgotten.) 6- Grand Theft auto 4 (Story is on par with RDR2's, a real GTA 3-VC feel to this game, moody atmosphere with a new engine means a lot more realism, detailed world that feels alive, tons of minigames, good map with lots of eye-catching landmarks and gameplay that is a tad-bit outdated, but works) 7- Assassin's creed: Origins (Amazing story, Amazing setting, amazing gameplay, it's probably the game i put the most hours into besides RDR2, the map really sucks you in, and you can feel the heat from the Sahara while playing, decent combat with sometimes spongey enemies, but fun and all around massive and beautiful game that got me into egyptology) 8- Minecraft (Endless fun, i've spent hours on anarchy severs just dicking the day away, built monoliths, penises, and cities, nothing beats loading into a pre-made city and adding onto it) 9- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Bajillion ways to complete a mission, good enemy AI, Decent settings, Decent story, and of course the characters make it worth-wile) 10- Saints row 2 (Genuinely fun game, nothing beats smacking the sh*t out of people with a lawn flamingo, or spraying a septic truck on a police station, but amongst all this chaos, a really rich and deep story is there, with so much life to the city and map, it really adds character to the game, probably my most played game on the XBOX 360)
