INeedTechHelp Posted January 24, 2021 Share Posted January 24, 2021 (edited) I have no clue how else I can possibly fix this. Only happens on social club website and the launcher/in-game. Any ideas on how I can fix this? I tried reinstalling the launcher and chrome several times, it works fine in Firefox but doesn't fix the launcher/in-game issue. When I turn off my wifi connection on my pc it loads the avatar in-game. On other devices it loads just fine (windows 8.1/ windows 10) I'm normally on windows 7 if that's of any use. He can not get the website to work using chrome, but he can with firefox on a normal webpage, He has tested this. If he sets firefox as default then applications and games will also use firefox which is more likely to work for him. Also I would rather the guys at Firefox had access to my info and searches rather than google tbh. It could be internet connection problems tho. @INeedTechHelp Try using a wired ethenet connection. Also you say you are using windows 7 what hardware are you actually using? Also 7 has not been updated since I dont know a few years now this could cause compatability issues with newer versions of chrome. If you have your Windows licence code on a sticker or something you may be able to upgrade to 10 for free. I have upgraded several pc's from 7 or 8 to 10.
