MOVING TIME FORWARD

Hello y'all,

I am just starting out with gta online after doing the story mode.

Can anyone tell me if you can move time on as in gtav by sleeoing?

Also, although I think I have passive mode on, I keep getting killed by other players. Is there anything I can do to avoid this?

Thanks

barney

1) I took this from the GTA Fandom site:
"While saving the game, each protagonist sleeps different hours. Michael sleeps for 6 hours, Franklin sleeps for 8 hours, and Trevor sleeps for 12 hours."

2) How are other players killing you if you have passive mode enabled?
What platform are you on?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I know that going asleep moves time forward as you say but that's in gtaV story mode rather than online.

Do you know ( if it is possible ) how do you get your character to sleep online? Also, is there a 'quick save' as in GTAV solo?

I'm on pc and have passive mode enabled - at least I think I do. It says passive mode enabled and if I click on it it says passive mode disabled to re-enable passive mode you need to wait... or something like that. So I make sure 'passive mode enabled' is lit up each time I log in.

cheers

barney

You cannot move time forward in GTA Online.

Your character can "sleep" in an apartment, though they will simply just lay in bed w/o resting.
