A full bag of gold is only slightly more valuable than a full bag of anything else or a combo of others. A painting and a stack of coke is worth maybe 50k less than all gold. Agree with this, for the money, it's not worth the pain of getting gold solo when it's only marginally more than coke. That said, accessing Gold may be appealing for those looking to improve their PB time for the Elite Challenge. I see the methods above are those used to glitch through by taking cover into the door. There's another method, also discover by Vil2486i from the videos above, whereby you go in aggressive and one of the guards may take cover inside the West Storage, unlocking the door for you. It's not for the faint hearted though, and the juggernaut will hunt you down, so you need to be prepared to deal with him. I gave the guards a full nerf with all the disruption preps, and poisoned the water with the cutting powder, and I only just get out of the main gate alive. I failed hard yesterday and got stressed because I didnt want to miss Elite Challenge If I will learn how to do it I will stick to this since it reduces time and increase payout at the same time which is a win/win situation. It's not about the money, it's about the statement. And when you get it right quickly, it's faster than having to get your loot somewhere on the island. You leave the compound with full bag. Personally, I don't care about getting gold. I'll just take the paintings and cash, as long as I leave the compound with a full bag in a timely fashion undetected. Sorry it just sounds childish, I do agree with the rest of what you said though. I was referring to @DuhBritishTea's statement. You asked him if the money wasn't enough, even though he stated it wasn't about the money. And yes, I think Rockstar sucks (not for Cayo Perico, which is great, but for all the public freeroam stuff before it), but I bought the game back when Rockstar didn't suck as bad. I own the game, and I play it my way, not theirs. Worst they can do is ban me from Online. So I'll take advantage of glitches in GTA Online (this one will be patched soon anyway), and I hop onto FiveM occasionally. I don't think that Rockstar deserves a proverbial middle finger for locking loot behind double doors, particularly all the secondary loot in the compound, unless you happen to get good RNG with 1 or 2 paintings in the office. I was a little resentful about this at first, too, as it made little sense to me when I was a lot less experienced than I am now. As I have gotten to the point where I can now easily get the Elite Challenge going solo, I really started to understand the reasoning behind this limitation, as Rockstar is already handing us millions of dollars for pretty easy solo online work. I am also pretty certain that locking the secondary loot on the compound, Gold being the most notable, is the dev team's way of trying to encourage going in with multiple people. Honestly? The more I play the heist, the more I realize that, unless you're a host who only gives 15%, while you take 85%, there is a genuine disincentive to hire people to do the heist with you. I have a feeling Rockstar didn't completely think it through and made the solo version of this heist maybe a little too lucrative if their goal was to try and incentivize doing the heist with others. In a way, given how easy it is to get Elite on this heist solo, even going to secondary loot locations first, it's almost too easy even with the Gold locked behind double key doors. It comes down to personal opinion on whether that is enough "incentive" to duo with someone willing to take 15% each time. There are so many nonsensical elements in the Cayo Perico heist that the inability of our char to stand between the two keycard locks doesn't even rank in the Top 10 IMO. A full bag of gold may only be worth $50-60k more than a full bag of coke, but there are also time savings involved both in the heist itself and in the Gather Intel mission. Of course you could just not bother with the latter and simply grab what's available at the docks or airfield during the heist, but then you're likely to end up with significantly less than gold.
