Dripfeed Prediction Thread - Dripfeed Week: January 21, 2021.

Okay, this sounds like a cool little mini-game. Predict the dripfeed for, in this case, tomorrow. I am pretty sure that the forum allows the OP to change the title, so after tomorrow has come and gone, I will edit the title date to January 28th, then February 4th, and so on. By the way, I was thinking that your predictions could also be wishful thinking. Post thoughts on sales and discounts, new vehicles, 2X money and RP, New Content or change, Podium Vehicle, etc.

 

My predictions:

 

-2X cash and RP on Special Cargo Warehouse Selling

-Podium Vehicle - Grotto Itali RSX

-Discounts - Torreador, Declasse DR1 (Open Wheel), Winky

 

-New Content - Property Ownership increased from 8 to 10, including garages (lol total wishful thinking on this one)

Agreed. First time I heard it, I had no idea what it meant. But it is a term that, for better or worse, everyone knows at this point.

On a side note, I am REALLY hoping for 2X Money on Special Cargo. I currently have 5 Large Warehouses full (555 crates in total) that I have been nursing for like 2 months now, sitting on them as my heart skips a beat every time one of them gets raided. lol I really want to sell all of them, and if I was smart, I would take the easy $11+ Million and sell all five now. But I really want that $22.2 Million payday for like an hour's work! I don't even need the money at this point. Not even close. But there is a principle here.

It started as a derogatory term used in frustration but it is a technically correct usage of the term.

 

"To give someone something slowly, little by little."

 

And as we all know, technically correct is the best kind of correct.

Thanks! But, in truth, it didn't really feel like a grind. I started at the end of the last 2X Special Cargo week, and did it very slowly, only when I felt like it. If I was bored, had nothing to do, or was waiting for a friend to come on or something, I banged out a couple of 3 crate source missions. I literally filled up the 5 warehouses very slowly over the course of a few months. So it didn't really feel grindy to me. Even though it technically was, lol just diluted over a long enough period of time that it was actually kind of fun.

 

@FrugalDangerMan exactly! I have started using the term because it really is quite accurate.

By the way, @Tez2, good call on Bunkers and the APC discount. That was a really great guess! Unless you had inside info, of course.

I am finding it very hard to save my money. I made $6 million from doing the hiest a few times solo, then I spent most of it on practical stuff like the Terrobyte and a night club.

It is. This are the same mfs that were complaining when they gave us everything during the Summer Surprise. They were literally saying "now we have nothing to look forward to" which defeats the purpose of them even calling it dripfeed content in the first place! If people are going to complain at least be consistent! Even when given everything, people are still not satisfied.
