lost-in-emotions 791
hey there, actually RDR2 is on STEAM Sale and this would be a good chance because i am soon moving into a house but will only have a LTE router for some time. So i need to Save Datatransfer and want to know if i can play RDR2 Story completely Offline? And what to do with my Savegames and Achievements in STEAM/R*-SocialClub? Will this be automatic synced if i go shortly online, after i quit my current gaming session? thx4help

zPhoenix 206
It seems that you can play offline but I am not sure how reliable it is. I normally play on a single computer and with an internet connection available, but there have been quite a few times where the cloud sync and local saves got out of sync. The strange bit is that the cloud sync version had the more recent timestamp pretty much every time, almost as if some of the local saves got lost. I simply chose the online and continued without problems. Still, it makes one wonder what is going on, and whether the local saves are reliable.
kubon352 711
Whenever my Internet got cut off, Rockstar Launcher didn't allow me to play RDR. Had to set up a hot spot from my smartphone, but just for launching application. Then I could turn it off.
