Shockwave_NewOrder 14
Hi, unfortunatly R* never released remasters of the 3D trilogy on the PS3/x360 generation. I think it was a great moment for them to release such a remaster. God of War and Metal Gear Solid had remasters for the PS3. quality GTA remasters would have sold just as much I think. and with remaster I don't mean a simple port. 2011 would have been a good period for a trilogy remaster release. between EFLC + RDR and GTA 5. due to R* selling out, Ubisoft has kinda taken the spotlight as developper of open world games here are my ideas: Gta hd trilogy: -able to choose between gta4 controls and classic controls -use the ps3/xbox360 for better rendering, drawing, technical stuff, more pedestrians -new game+ -trophies/achievements -auto saving -some extra outfits, … -minor improvements based on user feedback -known glitches removed if possible -ambulance missions: able to change vehicle -ability to buy in-game maps with package, jumps, rampage, … locations (like Assassin’s Creed) with in game-money (no micro-transactions) -ability to replay past missions (like some assassin’s creeds) -full steam workshop support for pc version Gta SA: -zero’s missions are easier -able to buy the San Fierro car shop without completing drivers school -extra hidden packages, jumps, … Gta VC: -no loading screens between the islands -west-island map shortcuts from VCS -swimming, might be like VCS -change Vic’s model from the opening cinematic -extra cars from VC -known bugs fixed like the cuban outfit, ice cream factory save, … -all outfits available at some save houses -extra save houses? -extra hidden packages, jumps, rampages, … -some extra cars from SA or VCS -maybe bicycles from SA -extra planes (that can land on the airport instead of on water) GTA3: -in game map is a must -no loading screens between the islands -Extra weapons from later games -Extra cars (from VC/LCS/SA/…) -more rampages, jumps, … -L-train and metro run in both directions -some removed stuff restored if not too difficult -extra clothes for claude -extra save houses for sale: including salvatore’s house and asuka’s condo -helicopters from VC if not too much work -a cessna plane that can fly -glitches like 8-ball’s first mission, empty harbour, purple nine’s, killing kenji before completion, … removed -mafia being less agressive. Or ways to make them less agressive. -shortcut between Francis internation airport area and wichita gardens. Now there is just the beginning of a broken bridge. -the road construction work in saints marks area be finished eventually. -remove the cardboard choppers from the airport and kenji’s casio -add the ceder ridge tunnel from Lcs please comment Edited January 16 by Shockwave_NewOrder
DR:BUSTA 1,210
TBH most of what you said would take away the feeling of the games Especially for 3

GhettoJesus 2,010
Quite honestly these ideas are bad. Quote -ability to buy in-game maps with package, jumps, rampage, … locations (like Assassin’s Creed) with in game-money (no micro-transactions) There is a certain feeling to discovering and collecting the collectibles yourself. If someone doesn't have the patience for it then they will just look it up on the internet anyways so this doesn't really make any sense Quote -zero’s missions are easier -able to buy the San Fierro car shop without completing drivers school -extra hidden packages, jumps, … Zero's missions are the plebfilter. However from what I understand the PS2 version is a lot more difficult because of the controls or something. So if they fix that then there we go, original difficulty kept, problem gone. Being able to buy Wang Cars is one of the rewards for completing the driving school. Doesn't make sense to have it purchasable immediately. As for the collectibles, how about no? San Andreas already has 250 collectibles and on top of that there are the stunt jumps. That's a lot. I could go on but there is a lot to pick apart here. My point is that most of these changes would change the game way too much. If a remaster was ever made they should only aim to fix bugs and glitches, not to add new content. Also there is a remaster of San Andreas on the PS3/Xbox 360 and it turned out pretty badly. After a horrendous performance like that I would rather not have these games remastered. BelfastBrawler 180
The 3d era is waaaay too outdated to be remastered. I mean R* is pretty much remastering GTA V at this point so i don't see why they'd bother. Also, Ubisoft, lol really? I'd rather say Bethesda. Like GOW, MGS, DMC. while the R* games are better then Ubisoft. AT least ubisoft still makes singleplayer games and singeplayer DLC. since GTA5 R* only released RDR2. don't get me wrong: GTA5 > Watchdogs 2 > WD1. ubisoft has their faults: rushed production, repetitive gameplay, bugs, ... the only reason I haven't bought RDR2 yet is because my gaming laptop might not be powerfull enough and because of hand-related issues (RSI?). I know that some of my AC-inspired shortcuts are too make the game a bit easier. but most of us already once completed the game on the PS2 generation. long time ago I 100%-ed gta3 and VC. baugera 3
The mod community for years now exists for a very good reason. Because companies such as RSG wont bother to bring us quality creative games anymore. So we make our own. We live in a age "f*ck it we'll do it our selves" . You are asking too much from a company that simply doesn't care to bring us anything normal for years now. So play the original games as they are or look up mods or as a last resort move on with your life and don't ask for things that wont ever be delivered by RSG. And ignore official "remasters" and "HD" because they are all far worse then what the dated originals are. I personally been playing GTA3 on a PS2 and been playing a lot of SA before to the point I can say I am happy and can move on and whenever I feel like playing again I know that I will go back to these versions because they are the best so far. SA original on PS2 and multiplayer on PC and I am done with it. However also waiting for my friend to release his GTA3 20 year anniversary mod version for PC this Halloween and will play that for the holidays. After that I wont need anything else and certainly anything from stupid RSG or T2 and suggest others to just use your head and do the same, play what you have or what you can get or just move on because companies don't care at all to bring us anything of a quality and wont any time soon. Life is too short to be wasted on toxic garbage. Accept these simple facts please. Edited January 24 by baugera 1
ChengizVlad09 1,359
Not only do many people have the wrong perception on what exactly 'remasters' and 'remakes' are in a more strictly technical sense, but great part of the community would basically expect to see 3DU games rendered as their counterparts from HDU. Which is, needless to say, wrong at so many levels I cannot be bothered to go in to great depths in explaining. 3DU games are denoted by different times, business practices and technology, that not only it's doubtful Rockstar can exactly manage to (re)capture, and a top of it all, upgrade their true spirit and meaning in a sense of gameplay, graphics and sound, but it is doubtful community would like it at all even if they did. They are part of the golden age of the franchise, a true legacy of the gaming world that needs to be handled with great care. Current interest from the creators is almost non-existent, while the community views them through the lenses of GTA IV or V, so maybe it's for the best not seeing any kind of initiative in that department. Americana 4,965
What we need is 3D Grand Theft Auto games remasters. We need a 16:9 fix, and some others. We don't need remakes. That would be awful. Not only these games wouldn't be good as remakes, they would be changed so much most people would hate it. Remember, new voice actors, new animations, new lines... everything would be new, and people don't like changes.

GodTearz 1
Well, to be completely honest here, I would rather buy the games on the Rockstar Launcher than Steam. - and why would I want two programs running at the same exact time as one another?
