Gather Intel : No kill, No Wepon.

As I was goofing off collecting the daily chests, i remembered something long time gta'ers used to do... and decided to try it out on the non hostile white guard by the airport's power generator.

as you can see, the guard does "die" but the cone of vison is still active, making me believe that he is actually not "dead" but if he was a red hostile guard would still spot me after "death"...

 

Now.. as you can tell, the other omg yes... no Boooo moment is : you cannot collect his rifle after he drops it... making so close yet soo far...

 

i have only one other option, and i really dont wanna waste the effort trying it to find out it isnt going to work like i think, so if anyone else wanna give this idea a shot :

 

Enable custom loadout and remove carbine rifle / shotgun from the list. Take your sub to the glitch point it will spawn on cayo perico. Take a cargobob and collect a un entered police car for a shotgun, or fib / park ranger suv vehicle for a carbine rifle, and land it ontop of the sub. Start the gather intel mission, and hope like call i n vehicles it will stick to the back of the sub upon entering cayo perico and not despawn and will still give you the weapon, or if it will just deny access to it. 

 

I know after writing this, someone's better work fast, before if it isnt, it will be patched.... heh...

As far as I can tell the game doesnt actually physically take your weapons away, it just disables the weapons while on the mission

 

Someone brought in a buzzard but couldnt shoot
