Drawing text in single line?

I've recently installed 13AG's zone text mod for GTA3, but all strings that have several words in them are drawn with each word starting from new line

 

 

here's a bit of ode that, I think, is responsible for drawing text:

Is there a special opcode required or this a GXT issue?
