ZAZ
detailed reply? spending hours for writing romans? This is the link of file which I can't export=link (in .blend format) Sorry for bad english and Thanks for advance

On 1/12/2021 at 6:56 AM, ZAZ said: 3DMax is a professional app Strongly recommended. I use 3D Studio Max 2009, with this dff Importer/Exporter: "https://gtaforums.com/topic/838479-dff-importer-and-exporter-for-3ds-max/" (Note: 32-bit plugin for 2009 doesn't work, I had to borrow a 64-bit PC) On 1/12/2021 at 6:56 AM, ZAZ said: And then the structure (hierarchy) of a GTA vice city vehicle is very complex (difficult for newbies, needs tutorial) I recommand to create first a simple object, e.g. to replace the vendmach.dff (vending machine) Never tried with a vehicle, I adapted a VC designed gun to SA with help of this tutorial: "https://gtaforums.com/topic/454846-vcsaexporting-custom-weapons/" And replacing KAM's scripts part with the dff Importer/Exporter part of "https://forum.mixmods.com.br/f300-tutorial/t5499-how-to-convert-models-to-cutscene-weapons-cars-cha" And using the Material Editor part of "http://gtamu.blogspot.com/2013/09/gta-san-andreas-rigging-tutorial.html" (not sure if this is necessary) I'm not sure if rigging for VC is more difficult than rigging for SA, but I've managed to do it for SA (being a complete noob on the subject, it took me 2 days, so don't despair). If you wanna see a few details of my "rookie headache", you can visit my first post here in GTAForums, where I was looking to use the same VC designed gun on the corresponding cutscene model (don't pay attention to the gun's frame texture of the in-game model, it was made with KAM's Scripts, it should be black like in the two last images, I've already solved that too): "https://gtaforums.com/topic/968056-gta-san-andreas-cutscene-weapon-model-not-moving/" So, my advice is, follow ZAZ advice, start with simple objects, I suggest you to try handguns, then two-handed guns, then peds, and when you're a crack at rigging, start with vehicles (maybe bicycles before cars, but don't take me too seriously).
