Don't y'all just hate it when you barely manage to crawl through a deadly firefight in IV or EFLC with only 1% of your health left, all the guys are dead, you're on your way out to escape in order to complete the mission and then suddenly one dumbf*ck wakes up after going unconscious mid-fight and shoots you down?

You read this a million times before but driving feels so good in this game. I guess I needed somewhat of a reminder by playing other non gta open world games.

Won my first game of air hockey today! came back from a 2-5 deficit to win 7-6 hehe. I seem to have an issue when the opponent hits the puc in a straight line towards the goal. Still, got the win. 

 

Can't wait to unlock gang wars in TLAD. Need to get better at aiming though. I feel like i can aim easier with the pistol than the shotgun. 

 

I don't like how enemies in IV era take dozens of bullets to go down, unless you hit a headshot. I read it gets worse as you win more gang wars in TLaD too

Yeah the IV enemies did seem to be tougher than the ones in V. I never had much problems since it's easy to get headshots in PC

Well done.  I was leading an air hockey once, but blew it.

I find the air hockey very difficult. It's well done though, feels like real life air hockey

It's actually super easy if you use the button to do the strong push instead of manually doing it.

Use FusionFix to get the Raw Mouse Input option in your settings, enable that and set your mouse sensitivity to 100%.

I don’t remember this happening to me but one time I had an npc shoot a hundred bullets at me through a wall. I mean I cannot think of many options from what I remember.

 

1)He was shooting through the wall

2)He was invisible

3)I just couldn’t see him

 

 

Regarding gang wars NPC durability, they become hardcore bullet sponges while throwing grenades and you guessed it, your team of bikers get one shot before combat even starts.

The only way to have the numbers on your side when tackling a roaming gang is to absolutely rock it on the initial exchange.

 

One time the Lost even finished the last guy before the reinforcements arrived.

I do that IRL. In GTA I always switch to one of 3 or so of my "approved" stations.

no coz I like all songs on the radio. Maybe LCHC is the only station that I regularly switch away from

Here’s a bit of an update on my opinions on GTA IV/EFLC characters.

 

Like:

Everyone except listed below. Overall, the vast majority of characters were pretty darn well-written and enjoyable.

 

Neutral:

The following characters are a bit funny at times but just plain annoying at other times IMO.

* Florian Cravic

* Elizabeta Torres

* Dwayne Forge (I used to like him but the more I think about it, he’s just too big of a crybaby)

* Brucie Kibbutz (my mind has changed on him dramatically, he would be in the dislike category if it weren’t for his even more annoying older brother)

* Rocco Pelosi (I was thinking about putting him in the dislike category but that golf mission he gave us was pretty darn fun TBH)

* Vince Pelosi

* Francis McReary

 

Dislike:

* Manny Escuela

* Mori Kibbutz

* Brian Jeremy

* Karen Daniels (I finally agree with @Jeansowaty on this one!)

* Playboy X

* Derrick McReary

* Yusuf Amir

 

Don’t get me wrong. GTA IV/EFLC always has been and always will be the best game in the GTA franchise alongside III and VC. And yes, MOST characters within this game are great! Regardless, in the past, I was being a bit too nice in some respects as far as characters are concerned.

 

I still think GTA V’s cast of characters is overall worse. However, Devin Weston and Molly Schultz are actually both growing on me WAY more than they used to. (I’m sure Jeansowaty is proud of me on this one too )

For one if you think about it all Molly did was do her job lol, plus she's enamored with Devin head over heels so she's obviously going to be a thorn to the three protagonists. Not like either is too likeable anyway.

This game is praised for being more serious which I get but I have to say, I started a new playthrough and the introduction to the "Friendship" mechanism is so silly and goofy, it feels like something straight out of a sitcom lol

Oh, mang, does IV have some really diverse environmental props... some of them even work well as weapons!

Hi, could you plz explain how you did this? Looks pretty interesting. I'm also wondering if it's possible to make peds use their props as weapons (e.g street sweepers attack you with their brooms, or maybe one could just make these weapons spawn randomly on peds?). I feel GTA IV could use some melee weapon diversity.

It's a pretty hack-y and not very user-friendly way... like, it's done in a way you can't do most normal things in the game once you have it all set up the way you see it in the video.

 

I might make a proper mod for this someday, but I'm not too experienced with RAGE engine modding so far...

But yeah, sniping out targets is a possibility in a lot of missions, although I have to admit it sort of takes out the "drama" from the missions. Also I'm sure you could do it better from a nearby building

 

One sniping I particularly like to do is killing Clarence Little in Holland Nights, instead of confronting him and his gang you can climb atop of a crane across the street from the projects he's in. You have a good view of him from the top.
