Surprisingly they’re quite well done. Sure once you’ve played through the different tours it’s unlikely you’re going to get much more value out of them, but for what they are they’re not too bad at all.

I like taking the tours of Algonquin at night.

 

The pilots are great.  One of them said this referring to The Projects in East Holland: "Ah, the housing projects of the world's finest city. I've seen war zones folks, and I can tell you, you're looking at one."

 

I started bursting out laughing when I heard it.

My 'go to' place to acquire a flying vehicle if I'm not closer to one of the Alderney helipads.

 

It's like the safehouses, helicopter spots aren't spread out very well.

I remember the pilot also badmouthing Hove Beach and Niko just letting him.

Possibly.   I got the information from another site.

 

As you go into the heliport, past the building, there are three helicopter landing spots in front of you, so I'm guessing that the first three are the Broker, North and West Algonquin tours.

 

The two landing spots on the other strip might be for the East Algonquin and Bridge tours.

 

I could be completely wrong about this, so the best way would be to find out yourself.

The game is over so here are the statistics for 'combat' , 100% shooting accuracy and victims in free aim as I wanted.

 

I tried to emphasise headshots when I didn't used a shotgun so nearly 100 'bullets' aren't head hits (shotguns count) , the 1 combat shotgun kill was during Bleed Out.

 

I restarted so many times A Dish Served Cold and Out of Commission, a lot of enemies so a lot of chance to miss and at least 2 enemies during the latter can survive headshots for no reason, I could have grenaded everyone in both missions if I wanted.

Fun fact: except ULP contact, Brucie, Little Jacob, Michelle (if you count “First Date” as a mission), Packie, Elizabeta/Gerald (both incarcerated), Phil Bell, Playboy X/Dwayne (depending on who the player chooses to kill), Roman (assuming revenge is chosen) and Francis (only if spared), all of Niko’s bosses die/are killed. 
 

Side Note: Manny is the only dead former employer that isn’t killed by Niko himself. (Unless if you choose deal, then Pegorino is killed by Dimitri).

I'm better off sticking at pool because I can win playing it.

Air hockey is harder than expected but way more fun than pool in my opinion. Pool in game is rather slow and not as engaging as it would be in person.

 

then again i suck at pool too, but Air hockey is the best minigame in IV for me so maybe i am biased

If there's one place I loved playing pool, it was The Lost Motorcycle Clubhouse in Alderney.

 

Wake up off that smelly mattress downstairs and head upstairs for some pool, high-low and the epic QUB3D.

Playboy x's safe house was a great spot for it too. High-low was so fun I might boot up tlad just for a quick round.

Couldn't find a thread so I am going to rant here. Wanted to do my second GTA IV run on PC (steam) and was on my last mission. I am coming from endless attempts of the last mission (Deal ending).

 

- Niko falling on the boat after jumping on Dimitris helicopter and thus instantly dying after leaving that fall cutscene

 

- the rocket launcher sometimes actually hitting your boat and thus you dying while you are stun locked in nicos everlong boat entering animation

 

- Little Jacobs helicopter randomly exploding somewhere between the buildings.

 

- and the nico not jumping on little jacobs helicopter bug

 

- playing with your framerate settings all the time to counter the last bug and destroying the game flow.

Try the latest Fusion Fix, esp if you're on the Steam version. It fixes most of these bugs as stated in the description and adds some other cool stuff. Be aware however that it might hit performance as FF does some graphical changes.

Any link or pics by any chance of the GTA IV Marketing era for the game. it's been a heck of a long time since ive seen (if i ever did that's how bad my memory is on it) ive forgotten how it was. I only care if they fix the pisspoor memory issues and updte the game to 64 bits. Modders have pretty much fixed everything else already including the broken visuals in the pc version. I bet if this happens they wont even do a pc version just port it over to switch or some sh*t

I really wish Ray Bulgarin got more screen time, because it seems like he had potential to be a very contemptible sociopath like Dimitri. Along with the backstory of Niko and Bulgarin. And killing Pegorino was very meh. His death didn’t make me happy or sad. He didn’t do anything to make me hate him. No, I don’t care about Kate. She was a lame and underdeveloped character. Her death also didn’t make me happy or sad.

Anyone else find it annoying that the GTA IV theme doesn’t start at the Rockstar logos anymore when the game first starts up? Went from being one of my favorite Rockstar logo intros to just complete and utter silence. Small but Baffling decision.

Holy sh*t thanks man! Feeling dumb for not realizing it was the update. Thats the intro I know and love! Ah that felt good seeing it again. 
 

Is there actually anything game breaking the patch fixes tho? Or is there really no reason to download it… I know they never patched out the songs, but from what I read in the patch notes it didn’t look like anything noteworthy.
