Rinegar
If during the scouting mission I saw a stash of cash in a cabin in the main port, but did not take a picture of it, will it still be available for me to loot when I start the actual heist? Basically what I am asking is whether or not you can still find loot in the island if you did not previously scout for them

NeoLedah
Yes. There's no reason at all scouting secondary objectives besides for the award of scouting everything Shadowfennekin, theEwing1979 and Rotorhead359

I wish the difference was greater and I wish there was more stuff you could find, would make scouting worthwhile.

Its not that much extra time and gives me better idea about my approach Rotorhead359, ALLWORLD19 and JSwartz0181

And it might not be there and force you to change your perfect strategy on the fly. When I scope out the island, I scope the airfield hangars first, just in case, then I go straight to the comms tower, and if I can make it without getting caught, I'll then go to my favourite location at the main docks. Sometimes there isn't enough loot at the main docks and I have to fall back to the airfield or the north docks to get enough loot. It is nice to know this stuff before you start the finale. If I find enough loot at the main docks, I'll go sewer in, main docks out. If not, I'll go in at the airfield, fill my bag, get a guard disguise, take the main gate and swim off the island. I am doing almost the same. But most of the times I skip north docks.. because If Idont find good loot at airstrip or main docks I gamble on the north docks... xD I should really try the grappling hook approach, but it just feels like losing time on the scope out just to find it. I barely found it on airstrip so far so I just stick to longifin or kosatka approach.. Rotorhead359
