Lemoyne outlaw Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 hi everyone. so i recently remembered a fun thread that was made for red dead redemption. it was a chain story. so basically i will start the story. and someone can write what happens next. after my story i will pick three options. and the next writer will pick one of the three options. and after they are done writing. then someone else can write. so there are some rules. and i decided that i will just copy the rules from the original chain story and use them here. How to play, A player will have 3-5 options to choose from to go off of and write their story response. When they finish they will leave 3-5 options for the next writer to choose from and write the next story response, and so on and so forth. Rules, 1) A writer cannot respond to their own post. They must wait for atleast one other player to write a response before the previous writer will be allowed to respond again. 2) If two or three players respond around the same time, then the player who's post got sent first will have their story continue, and the other players will have to acknowledge that their own response should be ignored. 3) No supernatural or mythical stuff. No magical powers or other universe crossovers or telekinesis or mind control or time travel. Non of that. The story should be somewhat realistic and fit in the Red Dead universe. 4) No sexual content is allowed. Minor and small snippets of stuff is okay, but straight out sexual writing is not acceptable. only locations from the redemption games are allowed. so yes even mexico can be used. and lastly no characters can die permanently. they can only temporarily die. like the hospital respawn in gta. so they can be out of the picture for a few stories. but then they come back healed. im sure everyone would love to kill micah right off the bat. but thats just not as fun. i want to see as many characters from this game as possible. even minor ones. or even ones from stranger missions. maybe after a while i might allow perma death. so i hope this can be a fun activity that we can enjoy. i look forward to seeing what fun stories and ideas you come up with. without further ado here is the beginning. it was a nice warm sunny afternoon in clemens point lemoyne. the van der linde gang were camped there. things seemed to be going well for them. except some trouble in valentine. but it had been some time since then. dutch was in the middle of a grand plan to rob two warring families. he thought it was going well so far. while everyone was relaxing in the camp. someone rode into the camp. it was arthur. he had a big smile on his face. "hey boahs we hit the jackpot!" arthur shouted. everyone was now interested in what he had to say. so they gathered around him. "i was out riding in the bayou when i saw an armored wagon riding by." "so i hit it." arthur had huge stacks of cash in his hands. and he also brought down a lockbox from his horse. he opened it and it was filled with stacks of cash and a few gold bars. and an italian flag. they had no idea why the flag was there but they all hovered around the cash and gold. "is this enough to get us to tahiti?" arthur asked. "of course. im gonna go into town right now to get a boat lined up." "everyone get packing!" dutch yelled. after dutch left everyone started celebrating and cheering. they were drinking and having a lot of fun. unfortunately the party died as soon as they saw dutches face. he looked worried. so he sat down and told everyone what he heard. "settle down everyone" dutch said. "i just found out that the score arthur stole today. belonged to an italian mobster named angelo bronte." "he is infuriated and has way more men than us. and he has resources." "we have to think of a plan to get out of here. and not be seen." as the gang were talking and trying to make a plan. they heard movement in the trees. and they turned around and saw a huge army. men on horses. men on foot. and even men in boats. they were surrounded and outnumbered. it turns out that one of the men on brontes stagecoach survived and followed arthur to canp. all the gang could think to do is grab their guns and be ready for a fight to the death. then a man shouted from the forest. "i demand to speak to the leader of this gang!" said a man in an italian accent. dutch being the charismatic speaker and leader of the gang stepped up. all of his gang had him covered as we walked into the forest. as he got closer he saw a fancy dressed italian man walking up to him. what happens next? 1. dutch and bronte talk. 2. one of them shoots at the other. 3. something interrupts them before they can talk.
