So right there, that's going to be a no for a lot of modern games. Pentium used to be a flagship series about 20 years ago. And while they've been updated to newer architectures over the years, they are currently a low-end series. This is offset with low power consumption, however, so you frequently see them on laptop computers. It's quite capable of running browser and work-related apps, but not much beyond that. And while that's enough for some games, it's going to fall short for many others.

The specific model, N3710 is also a bit old. So that's also working against you.

And that right there is going to be the nail in the coffin for a lot of other games. While Intel integrated graphics isn't all bad, and has been getting better over the past years, the HD 405 that you'll find on this processor is rather barebone.

This page has benchmarks for some laptops with similar hardware. If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll see a bunch of games listed with the sort of framerate you might expect. Note that laptops all vary a bit, so your performance might be a little worse or slightly better. Some of these are going to be playable at minimum settings, but just barely. Note that these aren't particularly new games. Anything more visually impressive just isn't going to run on that laptop.

It does depend what you want to play though. I had great success running some of my old classic titles from circa 2002-2004 on s single core Intel Atom notebook laptop at fully playable frame rates.

But generally speaking, as K^2 says, for any major title from the last decade or so it's going to be a big fat no for gaming on that laptop.

Even though this Pentium N3710 has 4 cores, it's not really a "true" Pentium - this is basically a rebranded Intel Atom. What I mean by that - your laptop is basically a glorified tablet, as this CPU is nowhere near as fast as even dual core Pentiums found in desktop computers.

As people said above, I'd just avoid disappointment and wouldn't try to run recent games on this hardware. There are many fun older games as well though.

anyway, simple games like Minecraft can still work in my PC, right?

i think Minecraft is a lightweight PC game

Minecraft can actually be quite taxing on the hardware (depending on the size of the generated world, etc.), but it should be reasonably playable on this PC.

It depends on what models are we comparing exactly, but in general - no.
