what pick-ups, trucks or vans are able to carry bikes in the back/bed? preferably a pegasus vehicle if the back can be opened.....

The short answer is none.

At least the Vapid Guardian can. It can carry players, RC tanks, too.

 

Not sure about others... I'm not into pick-ups and other trucks.

 

As for Pegasus vehicles, you can put stuff in the shovel of the Dozer but it is slow AF. The Dump can carry players but vehicles will slide off.

I use the Bison when I want to carry a bike around, it's pretty fast if you mod it

went to reddit, tried the sandking and it worked perfectly...

 

thank you for the replies.... I can find a sandking pretty easily on the street so I could take my own custom manchez

 

 

 

tried to mule pegasus and recommended on reddit but I think opening the back is patched as it would not open until i blew it up

Had no answer so didn't reply to the original question since with all pickups they often seem to slide off. Once randomly blew up @REXX's bike while it fell over in the back of my Sadler. When he went into the back to try putting the bike upright again as I was stopped, the bike glitched under the truck and blew him up.  As said the Dozer works by far the best, but walking is quicker then it...

 

The back of the Mule doors can still open AFAIK, but they only open if you go to sit in the back. You probably need 2 more players for it but you might be able to put CEO on, stand behind the mule and hold down triangle since with CEO your character goes into the closest rear seat of player owned vehicles. But the door will probably not stay open long enough for you to try and ride a bike in unless you do it with someone else sitting in the back aiming a weapon as that opens the back door he's sitting near.

 

I remember a video some time ago of 2 Deluxo's in the back of a mule to make it fly, so there should be no invisible barrier to get a vehicle in when the doors are open.

You have to block driver and passenger doors 1st.  What I do is...

 

* park the mule next to a pole blocking the passenger side,

* call my stromberg and use it to block the driver side,

* walk to the back of the mule and press enter,

* you spawn inside then aim my weapon to open the door

* get out and open the other door,

* get my stromberg and back it up to the back of the mule

* use stromberg as a ramp and drive bikes in

* Once Im at my destination I get out the mule,  drive a distance away then recall it to drop the bikes

 

Any bike falls inside the truck it will be destroyed.  You're welcome

thanks dude, only thing is one of the bikes I am transporting is also my own personal vehicle and as far as I know the Guardian does not spawn or a pegasus vehicle...

so aiming the weapon while inside the mule and both doors blocked opens it? the vehicle interaction menus should do this really

I managed to do it with a sandking today...I tried was gonna try with a rebel but it despawned and a sandking drove past....it held it decent even at high speeds but the position needs to be good before you drive off

 

also I am transporting my own personal bike so I cant use cars that do not spawn in freemode......

Yes,  its basically the same as getting in the back seat of a car.  The two front seats have to be occupied first before the back is available.

 

No point in grudges bro especially over a game.

been doing some research and you can find a truck with the utility bed attached, yet to try but I tried the with the sandkind and it worked really well....plus they are easy to find so I can use my personal manchez..

I'd be remiss not to mention the Bombushka, as long as you don't modify it (there's a very short list that I forget) you can open and shut the cargo ramp and ferry nearly anything. Slowly.

oooo I was meant to ask if you can still open the back of the cargobob.....

 

we got a few guys n the back with bikes and jumped out in the air years ago.....that was good fun and before they added director mode unfortunately

Armor, Engine, Handling, Respray; anything else closes the Bombushka's cargo bay with an invisible wall (even liveries )
