Vacke Posted January 4, 2021 Share Posted January 4, 2021 Hello everyone, First of all all questions are related to R*launcher and buying GTA IV. Now to the questions. 1. Main question is this. I have GTA V bought from R* Launcher, so no from Steam, I now as I said wanted to buy GTA IV. Problem is that if I buy from Steam, do I have to link my R* Launcher Account to Steam, which then worries me about GTA V which is not bought on Steam, will I be able to play it (talking about same R* Launchr Account that will now have R* Launcher GTA V version and GTA IV steam version) ? 2. kartoshka Posted January 9, 2021 Share Posted January 9, 2021 If you buy the game on steam, you will go through steam and then you will still go through Rockstar's launcher to start the game like with GTA V. So I would say just buy the GTA V from Rockstar's launcher... If you will want to run the steam overlay you can always run the game as an "non-steam game".
