Where to start ? at the beginning i guess.I was never much of a gamer,i did play san andreas when it came out on ps2.The ps2 was well looked after,but by the time i had 100% the game maybe 4 months later i was on my 3rd replacement.Put aside and 10 years later that ps2 was toast to.Bought a ps3 and san andreas just after the ps4 came out.To my shock and horror all the buttons are in different places and i just couldnt play the damn thing.Fast forward another 10 years i just found the memory card thing with my 100% save,no idea if the card is any good now.cant find san andreas disc or even a controller.a ps2 controller and no ps3,i do have a sterring wheel and pedals

Q1.there is no way of changing the ps3 button layout to that of the ps2 layout ?

Q2.a new ps2 seems to be £400 a second hand ebay ps2 £50 and no idea if it works or in my hands how long it will work.hit n hope ?

Q3.i do have an average pc.Do i screw the save game that could be corrupted after all this time ps2 and get san andreas on pc ? assuming i can get a ps2 type controller,and the pc should let me have the same button layout as the ps2 game ? I dont what to get into modding,id just like to play the game as it played on ps2.

Took the easy option and found gta san andreas on download from a well known uk retailer.Not that easy as i had to download some stream thing first.

Not sure why people play with a mouse as the only thing i could make cj do was punch thin air.Dont know if i had 1 or 2 ps3 controllers but i found 1,plugged it in lights flash does nowt.Guess i need a proper pc joystick thats just like a ps2/3 controller ?

still no idea if the buttons will be ps3 layout style/unplayable.
