Big Molio
Pulp Fiction Probably the one I have seen the most. Eminently quotable, still very funny. I watched it recently and tried to decide which is my favourite scene. It is made up entirely of scenes which have now permeated pop culture. Jules and Vincent at the apartment, Vincent and Mia at Jackrabbit Slim's, Winston Wolff, the rape scene, and the "Bad Motherf*cker" finale. I think my favourite scene though is when Vincent takes Mia to Lance's place when she overdoses. Eric Stolz and Rosanna Arquette are great. Django Unchained I love this one because I think it has a killer soundtrack. From Jim Croce's "I Got a Name" to contributions by Ennio Morricone and the great "Freedom" by Anthony Hamilton & Elayna Boynton Inglorious Basterds Christoph Waltz is awesome in this as Hans Landa. That scene at the beginning with Monsieur La Padite is so tense. I really love the scene in the tavern as well with Michael Fassbender "Say goodbye to your Nazi balls!" I have a love hate relationship with Tarantino. I think he comes across as a petulant, occasionally pompous jerk, but when he hits it, he is really good. He's had some misfires though in my opinion. I don't think Jackie Brown is as good as everybody says, his insistence on appearing in his own movies is actually detrimental to them, and Once Upon a Time....in Hollywood is the most self-indulgent pile of steaming sh*t that I have ever watched. I was really looking forward to it, and was really disappointed with it to be honest. I actually think that Tarantino's best film is the one he didn't actually direct, only wrote, i.e. True Romance Edited January 23 by Big Molio Mister Pink
