I'm trying to finish GTA 3 what do you recommend me to do so that I don't have problems in the missions like for example "not being able to pass the mission" 

and others ?

That's a bit vague but you should collect the hidden packages to get weapon pickups near your safehouses. Also do the odd jobs for bonuses.

Git gud scrub. But in all seriousness GTA III has some missions that may be considered harder than the rest, but it's not San Andreas Supply Lines level of difficulty. Make sure to have full health and armor before each mission, stock on ammo and generally be prepared for everything game may throw Your way. It's worth using sniper rifle to take as much enemies out from the distance if applicable.

Do the side missions first or as soon as possible (e.g. the gangs will be friendly allowing you to complete the paramedic missions).

 

Do the missions for each person instead of multiple people at the time. I think you need to finish all of Joey's missions first, because if you start working for someone else you miss one of the missions making it impossible to complete the game.

Same thing as above for Kenji's missions, be sure to finish his strand before moving on

Yes Make sure to get armor and health for the last 10 mission cus they can be a pain.

Also Luigi's missions. Think you can lock yourself out of the last two or three missions.

Do all Portland side jobs before start Trial by Fire/Blow Fish, no Portland gang will attack you during side missions and collectable hunt. Rampages will easier aswell.
