BUT THE BENZ Posted January 16, 2021 Share Posted January 16, 2021 for camp sites today go visit citadel rock. relatively easy camp defense there. the 2 or 3 waves coming in on horses are BULLsh*t ridiculous and tank bullets like marzipan, it is doable though. and you have no jerks riding around in circles, trying to do a circle jerk on you...and the travelers. kcole4001 and Rev. kcole4001 Posted January 16, 2021 Share Posted January 16, 2021 I never get 10/9 with collector or bounties, unfortunately. Got my 7/7 10/9 with the gators today, though! Also got snakes, a camp defend, 3 flowers, and of course the desert samples while I was out in New Austin to make the most of the trip. Pretty easy day overall, really nice after the long streak of pvp/posse crap they threw at us. I did have trouble getting the infamous bounty to work at Tumbleweed. It kept doing the black screen then nothing and the bounty board reappeared after a minute each time, so I ended up just doing regular bounties for the dailies. Rev. A Camp Defend started right next to my camp in the Heartlands. Right as I got up to it "Rescue Buyer" popped up so the camp defend went away. I just ignored it and did the collecting dailies, then when I got tired of waiting for it to end itself I just switched sessions back to camp so I could sell the goods instead of using fast travel. Even when it shows 12 people total, in the lobby, I really never see other players on the map! I saw two guys around St. Denis, that was all; 'course no one is messing with me either, then (Xbox One.) Anyone else keep getting the "forever loading black screen/spinning revolver thingie" the first time you do a moonshine/trader delivery? Been happening more to me lately, today once for both; even after I had it for one trader (then did a short distance one, to clear out the big load of goods, then two long distance for the daily just on my horse), then I still had it the first time I tried to do a moonshiner daily for the distance thing. Anyone else keep getting the "forever loading black screen/spinning revolver thingie" the first time you do a moonshine/trader delivery? I get the infinite loading screen on the moonshine delivery missions occasionally. Sometimes I can attempt to join a friends session, but decline at the prompt and it will set me free. "3 player kills with thrown weapons in free roam events" Not sure if that is worth it, wasted 16 sticks of dynamite, 3 tomahawks, all poison throwing knives, then all but one of my regular throwing knives last time: Got the 3rd kill with my one throwing knife I had left... Lols, last time that was a daily. So it was probably "more expensive", in terms of resupplying, than just not getting all 7 instead. That was on Railroad baron, so maybe If I do it this time I'll go with master archer where people are not even PVPing often; it would be kind of a jerk move, but oh well! King of the Castle would probably also work well, since people are not all running ahead like in Railroad Baron. That time I had no luck getting the kills before the event started, seems everyone else had the same thing in mind. Guess I'll try that again maybe. ================================ Hey, anyone else see "News of the World"? I think it might be another "best actor" nod for Tom Hanks, though he probably won't get it due to "wokeness." But most of all I don't think Helena Zengel (the main young lady in it) should get best supporting actress, but rather best actress! She was AMAZING! Spoiler Free: From my point of view, the movie is a story about Tom Hanks getting a mission and then some "griefers" try to stop him from completing it; just as when I play RDO, their reasons seem to really not make much sense other than to be jerks. Yeah, did fools gold for thrown weapons. 9/9 7/7 Can't believe I won the elimination, as the last player left but with zero kills! I guess I waited the other people out, on the edge. A few of them died then something like 3 "killed themselves." Did anyone else have their gold cores, from eating the big game buff food or the camp stew, disappear every few seconds/minutes? It was insanely irritating; I was in a lobby that went from 14-20 people or so, with me being solo once for a bounty (someone said that has something to do with the buffs going away.) I looked up at the sky one day and saw a bird that had just started to fly off after sitting on a rooftop, it looked so condor-esque with it's dark sillouhette, slowly flapping its wings in the orange drained sky behind it - my first thought was taking out the varmint rifle and going into dead eye. didn't work, but it made me appreciate the birds-in-the-sky aspect of this game even more.
