9/9 7/7

 

Was going to turn in 10/9 as

"20 carcass" and "3 predator", but I got the baby alligator carcass (on my horse) too

soon so had to do other dailies and did not feel like getting another one (or waiting for

some wolf/whatever to pop, since nothing in the wagon counts for "predator" carcass.)

 

So instead I accidentally turned in "$$$ bounty" and "5 minutes left"

as 8 and 9; they don't usually count both for 9 and 10, so for some reason

I was thinking it would not either for 8 and 9. But I was out of stuff that would

work for 10, since nothing with a shovel does, anyway.

 

The 7 general were pretty chill, for a change. Had a relaxing "Master Archer" and "Condor Egg", then

a knife throwing takeover which I did not care about since it was only participation.

 

Dang, session went off with a hitch then I did a moonshine run for the heck of it; hung/load revolver thing spinning

forever; so very lame that still happens. It really makes me wonder what Rockstar's attitude is about stuff like that:

 

"Hey, should we fix that? I guess we don't bother since all they have to do is reload into online and start it again.

So that doesn't really seem worth fixing, man."

3? I don´t know what R* and why they put so much effort of changing around the Free mode events..... Was thinking of doing the "Animal tagging" but it was "Condor egg" instead......

Dynamic events daily is broken had a hard to find one that I never found. And it is so off putting that I lose interest to play the game

Bounties didn't stack again, so only 9/9.

I always have good luck at Whinyard Strait for ambushes. I move back and forth between the bridge and Chez Porter (usually shooting squirrels) and by the second or third trip, the ambush wagon appears on the East end of the bridge.

I'm usually around northern parts of Roanoke but today nothing spawned! Almost every other day there is bootleggers but today they where swallowed by the earth!

I had two ambushes happen to me the other day, when it was NOT a daily...

 

The one good thing about "ambush" daily, is that it means I'm unlikely to feel I have to do the

"players from the hip in Showdown" daily  ; no ambush found, no need to do that since no full list

anyway.

Just invite random and start it! If they leave it is counted as done.....

Yea, what @Nerfgoth said, Change your posse name so that people know what you are doing. I always get a least one or two to join

Everyone's choice today for 10/9: medium or large carcasses.

I chose medium for variety (though a 1 star gila monster counted as small, so beware, use 2 or 3 star).

I used 7 "medium" in the wagon, since then they always count as "medium"( even if jackrabbit, raven, etc.)

 

So I turned in 12 "satchel" small animals, then a pronghorn I had on my horse (had already finished "6 Large earlier") 

then the 7 medium from wagon = 20 in ten minutes and 7 medium:

I didn't have the 3 items to sell to fence, have to remember to hold some back 

I'd already looted so many guys, from various things, but only had one item to sell to fence!

So I didn't bother with Posse fishing either.

There are loads of easily looted jewellery at specific spots all over the map, I hit 3 regularly: Larned Sod on top of the dresser, the inn in Rhodes on the dresser in the back room, & the house with the yellow interior just below the 'O' in 'Bayou'. The last one actually has 2 jewellery, one in the tall cabinet, one in the desk drawer.

There's another in the corner table drawer in Trelawny's place if it works, often it doesn't for me but others have said they have no problem getting it.

Those are the easiest ones for me to hit regularly in the normal course of daily activities, plus I keep a couple each of the silver & platinum watches I loot in case Madam wants one for a weekly set.

The gold watches can be found in the lockbox in the white wagon at almost all shine roadblocks.

 

Looting is an old PRG habit for me.

those 2 weeks of 0.1 ...and 0.15...BOOLsh*t! yesterday I didn't even bother with the really easy stuff...fail'd to sell 3 items to the fence

today I'll do a selfie, maybe I call cripps to show his ugly ass too, and then I'll cook some horse tonic and call it a day. well, back later on for the condor egg! and then finally, gone with the wind!

You can do 10/9 for the Role Challenges by combining 2 Bounties brought in from West Elizabeth posters and 3 Bounty targets brought in. It's the only two that work for the Bounty Challenges

I'm having insane load times today, for no apparent reason.

 

I finished a long distance delivery to Valentine, just on my horse with goods for credit, then had the LOOOONNGGG

load blackscreen/spinning revolver to load back in... TO VALENTINE; I waited it out, getting more coffee/restroom

and it actually loaded finally.

 

Then I had a LOOOONGGG load screen before the next long distance delivery/blow up wagon and take horse,

just from starting it at my camp. Again, it finally loaded.

Crud, didn't work for me (got robbed!!!) I did manage to get at least 3 photographed at once, while they were

hogtied on the ground (for number eight.)  Then 2 from West Elizabeth and 3 brought in would have been 9 and 10.

 

It actually SHOWS the "3/3 bounty targets brought in", but it has a "lock" next

to it and still only gave me 9, with only 2/2 counting for ninth.

 

This may have been because I brought in one wagon, full of six bounty guys, from a West Elizabeth $$$ mission 

 

 

 

 

 

As seen in one below, it only counted "9" too...

Possibly, what I usually do is do a single bounty first, then do a 2, 4 or 6 bounty targets one after, usually works. Most likely doing a 4 or 6 bounty target poster might check off the 2 Bounties brought in from [State] posters first which then locks the 3 bounty targets brought in or whatever I'm not sure but I've managed to do it most of the time but 3 Bounty targets brought in rarely comes around since the Bounty Hunter expansion.

I'm not sure if you're aware that the 3 Living bounty targets in a photograph doesn't have to be 3 targets in the one photograph, you just need to photograph 3 living bounty targets so can do 3 single bounty posters or whatever.

For those having trouble with the Bounty completed without killing an enemy or bounty target challenge, and I think it's because of the wording, to successfully do this challenge you need to not kill either the bounty or any of the NPCs during the bounty mission. I find it easier to this challenge with the Free Roam bounty targets.

Yeah, that was just a happy accident (was taking photo of one hogtied dude, gave me credit for 3 since I think other guys were on ground in background.) I only did that one bounty, of six guys, and covered all the 

bounty hunter dailies! It just didn't work for 10/9. I made a video of it, which I might post in the videos area, and it was the only time I've seen SIX targets just stay right there and shoot at you

while you hog tie them all and dump them in the Bounty Wagon (with some continually getting loose, then starting to shoot at me/tackle me while I was putting a guy in the wagon.)

 

Oh, now I remember, I had to do the stupid photograph one because the "$200 moonshine sold" failed because ONE BOTTLE was lost and it dropped from $247 to $185!

I did not stop in the yellow circle fast enough, for the picky revenuers, so they opened fire on me !

 

 March 4, Nothing for 10/9, in today's list.

I did my 10/9 yesterday by doing the random bounty on the tracks east of Emerald station that almost always pops near my shine shack, then later did 2 from Blackwater.

 

For some reason the randoms never count as not killed even when there's no other NPCs to kill, for example the bounty that pops at Guthrie Farm at night, my camp is on the hill north of there and I get this bounty often, yet it never counts.

All I do is go to the farm, hogtie the bounty who is either creeping around the side of the house or inside (just whistle or fire a gun and he'll come running out), then take him to Valentine, but no challenge ever counts, they don't count for me as being part of the 2 bounties per hour challenge either.

For any of the dailies I have to do proper bounties from a board.

I think the Free Roam bounty targets on their own don't count, it's possible the requirements for the [Bounty completed without killing an enemy or bounty target] also needs enemies with the bounty target to count or something, I usually do the one in Big Valley by Little Creek River, 2 enemies and bounty target on horses, they don't seem to move until you get near them, I just use my bolas on all of them and hogtie the enemies and bounty and take him into Strawberry.

I think any timed Bounty Challenges only work on the Bounty boards
