In that span of seven years, we've had a hell of a lot of vehicles added to the game. What do you think was the best year in terms of new vehicles released? What was your favorite year? Discuss. In case of the latter, it would move the Savestra, Viseris, GT500, and 190z to 2018 -- some of my favorite cars. So I would pick 2018 if it weren't for advanced flags and the Oppressor Mk II. IceDree Posted January 1, 2021 Share Posted January 1, 2021 - 2019 was the best year for cars. IMHO, DC&R brought the best selection of the cars to update. I made this High-Quality meme about the cars I liked when the dlc came out. The Novak turned out to be an utter disappointment, but the rest of the cars were rock solid. DCH followed through with a great selection, unfortunately the cars weren't as polished as the DC&R roaster. 2015 is a personal favorite of mine, I bought so many cars from E&OC & the IGG updates. The quality of the cars were a product of their time and not on the same league of the 2017+ cars. 2017 raised the bar significantly in terms of quality & brought some iconic cars, but it had way too many weaponized stuff for my liking. 2018 was the worst, too much garbage. - 2016 was the best for the car storage. 60 new garage slots! - 2017 was the best for Aircrafts. - 2020 was the best for Boats. Classic Challenger, complete with its own (For awhile at least) unique interior, new engine model and superb detail? They could've charged over a million a pop and I still would've bought as many as I own today. Challenger Demon? Oooohhh mama! Good performance, good looks and decent customization? I'll take 8 Sure 2019 had a couple duds but the majority of the cars added were top notch including quite a few that aren't exactly cars I'd buy in real life but looked good enough to buy in game. Diamond Casinon Update added the most vehicles I ever liked in an update. Really, ever. And I still regularly drive almost all of them. Diamond Casino Heist was smaller but still just as good. VSTR, Komoda... like. Undeniably 2019 was the best. The worst has to be 2020. Obviously 2014 and 2013 would be worse but... I'm not counting those. 2018 would be second worst. Second best? Pedinhuh Posted January 3, 2021 Share Posted January 3, 2021 2019 was the best year by a wide margin, 2018 sucked major donkey balls, 2017 was interesting with the airplanes variety, 2020 was between "meh" and ok so I rate it fairly mediocre. Tofu86_ Posted January 4, 2021 Share Posted January 4, 2021 2014 was nice, lots of classic GTA vehicles are from this period (Slamvan, Massacro, Glendale, Panto, Turismo R, Coquette Classic, Warrener). 2019 does however have some of my all-time favourite vehicles in the game though. The Retinue MK II, Sultan Classic, Jugular, Gauntlet Hellfire/Classic, Zion Classic, Paragon R, Issi Sport, etc... I think overall for me it's a tie between 2014 and 2019, with a shoutout to 2017.
