Rhoda 7,106
Remember, when you spell his name it's ALL CAPS. A true artist. Here is a photo of him holding some macaroni and cheese.
LeakyLine 8,138
I don't get emotional with celebrity deaths often... Or at all, really. Actually sat down and had to process this one. DOOM's my favorite rapper... Been listening to him since I was a kid. This one f*cking hurts. A lot.
Zello 20,333
So apparently he died in October. Crazy how they were able to keep this a secret for this long. 3
Mr. Scratch 11,276
2020 had to deliver one final kick in the balls. RIP DOOM.

I have a lot of respect for anybody that knew and kept it private so the family could grieve. Obviously speculation is going to run wild about the circumstances surrounding his passing, but I'm glad that his wife has at least had some time to process things. I think today I'm going to revisit some King Geedorah and Viktor Vaughn releases. If you're a casual fan of DOOM at the very least, you can't go wrong with exploring these aliases. It's some of his best work.
RenegadeAngel 2,798
Absolutely gutted. Somewhere deep inside I still hope that it's all just a massive show, because if there is one artist that can pull something like this off, it's DOOM. Rest easy, villain.
Rhoda 7,106
I saw somebody (well, many people) say that for him to die on Halloween and for nobody to know until now is very fitting with the type of character he was. 1
98 in 1 7,055
gone too soon man, like Rhoda said though it is very fitting that his passing was under wraps for 2 whole months. dude was on a whole nother level with the mysteriousness. definitely one of the best wordsmiths to grace the game no doubt
Mister Pink 12,216
This is shocking. I was wondering why I saw a photo of El-P posting an old image of him saying MF Doom was the GOAT. Didn't hear the news until I saw this thread. Edit, also to think he has a new track in GTA Online I supposed released posthumously without us knowing. It's kind of sadder. https://pitchfork.com/news/mf-doom-and-badbadnotgood-share-new-song-from-grand-theft-auto-listen/ Edited January 1 by Mister Pink
vcfan1991 99
I always liked the Special Herbs collection the most... Doom knew how to chop up real well on the SP 303 or whatever it was he used... I saw him once at a show in NZ maybe 9 years ago.

SonofLosSantos 5,239
I remember I found his DANGERDOOM album on of my dads old iPods when I was about 10. I loved it especially because I loved ATHF. He was always an interesting character to me, and in my young mind I really thought he was some sort of comic book villain. Seeing him host the Christmas special on adult swim and stuff. Idk... this sh*t just feels weird, especially because I was listening to his music the other day and I thought to myself, “damn, I wonder what’s gonna happen when doom dies?” And by that time, unbeknownst to everyone he had already been dead for two months. long live MONEY FOLDER DOOM
