Can't get my video memory show all 8gb of vram

I just can't get GTA IV 1.0.7.0 to show all of my Amd Vega 56 vram.

I have zolika and fusion patches installed, however I disabled all of their vram fixes in their ini's, because the max they showed was 2GB.

I tried commandline -availablevidmem, without it the game shows 3GB of vram so I thought -availablevidmem 2.66(3gb*2.66=8gb) would do the trick, but it shows only 4gb. Then I tried -availablevidmem 8119 (dxdiag vram amount in mb), but it doesn't seem to work too.

Can I do something to fix it or 4GB vram is the max 1.0.7.0 can detect?

EDIT: I have dxvk installed too.

Fixed it by just updating it to 1.0.8.0 and then applying -availablevidmem 8119

1.0.7.0. doesn't support more than 4gb ram it seems.

Since 1.0.8.0 turned out to be laggy as f with my car mods, I am back at 1.0.7.0 so if anyone knows how to solve this problem I will be happy to hear.

There's no problem. Watch your VRAM utilization in Graphics Settings, I doubt that game uses more than 1.5 gb of VRAM. So even if it detected all 8 gb it would not matter much.

Also the game is 32-bit and cannot address more than 4 gb of RAM.

Graphics Settings show the unmodified gta estimates.

But since my game is heavily modified (every car is replaced normal and eflc), I need as much as I can possibly squeeze out of this trash port. It uses 2.6 gb vram, which is the dying point when the "fun" stuff starts happening (textures popping, npc's forgetting what they doing, etc.). Thank god I can adjust how much vram my cars are using by lowering the limits of RIL budgeted.

We are talking about VRAM tho, not the ordinary kind, actually I don't know how to check how much ram+vram gta iv is using, since when I am running gta it shows ram usage in 8 gigs, which is bullsh*t(most of that ram is used by background processes). But I  highly doubt that it uses only 1.4 (4gb - max vram usage) of the ordinary ram.

Btw it seems that my gpu driver is sending wrong vram count to gta, which is weird because in every modern game it detects 8 gb as it should.

I just can't override what is being sent to gta by using -availablevidmem (which no matter the value somehow drops my vram) and I have even added a line to my dxvk.conf to override what driver says about the vram amount.

Only logical thing at this time would just be to upgrade to 1.0.8.0, but it stutters as f*** and I don't know how to fix that too.
