We seriously need to be able to buy a second hangar

TL:DR Let us buy multiple hangars!
 

As of the Cayo Perico update, the hangar you buy will have no room for Pegasus aircraft if you own all the Hangar only aircraft. This sucks for people who own all the base aircraft, but want some Pegasus aircraft they can respray, or do stuff like with the Cargobob opening its rear door. I had to delete the sexy AF black titan and cargobob I used to abduct innocent unassuming players off LS streets.

 

The worst has to be the spawn locations. Owning a hangar in LSIA allows you to spawn aircraft there, and you can’t spawn it in the military base or get that dope access. If you choose base access, you can never spawn your personal vehicles at the main airport which is super annoying for the larger planes.

 

I ended up selling my more convenient LSIA hangar for the Fort access, but it’s annoying that I can’t spawn anything back there.

 

The simplest solution is to allow players to own two hangars. I could practically store all the Pegasus aircraft i want, and you could then have access to spawning your planes wherever you please.
 

It’s really annoying you have to choose between trivial things that worsen the game experience either way. At the very least rockstar could’ve added more storage, but apparently not. It lessens the amount of money players spend too, as it effectively limits the number of planes someone can buy and customize.

Absolutely.

As for now, i divide my plane collection among three characters, but sometimes it's good to have the whole collection on one. Would also be cool to have a Hangar MKII somewhere else, like on a private island, where you can modify other Pegasus vehicles as well.

2 hangars at one location would be fine.. Owning a hangar at both locations? So unrealistic. Like being able to own 10 Oppressor mk2's and WHY THE f*ck IS THAT THING STILL ON THE MOTORCYCLE MENU

I think we need a good 20 to 40 more parking spots. And maybe 10 to 20 more slots for aircraft. Aaaaand actual boat storage.

 

Any legitimate gear head or enthusiast would tell you this...

Geez. Yeah if you're heavy on the collections then you'll want more, but I just can't imagine for the life of me on how to fill all my garages without buying 10 of the same car, just modified differently.

I see many that are of similar mind to you, I get ya, and I mean no disrespect of course. But the game is old and has more different makes/models of car than storage spaces for sure.

 

I don't own 2 of the same model of the same car, but I'd love to. A race/tuned version and a regular version ideally. Or weaponised/non-weaponised variant where possible etc. I do have, for example, a Nero and a Nero Custom and others like that including Benny and regular variants of cars as they are much different in many cases.

 

I own 1 of each muscle car, sports car and super car, 1 of each of the go-karts and F1 cars, about 6 compacts and an SUV. Add a few weaponised/arena toys and that's me full, lol. Must Add, I don't grind and just plod away having fun and once the cash was there, buy a new baby and here I am, 190m to spend but no toys to buy, lol. Even bought all the clothing.

 

I'd love more SUV's, coupes, sedans, off roaders and trucks etc. Too many to list but loads I'd love.

 

Naturally my clubhouse and hangar are full too. Just want limits lifted all round so we can have more if it all. The game is about greed and cash, and I wanna be a Jay Leno with my vehicle collections is all.

100% agree. 

 

The problem is, some genius decided that if a player purchases a hangar at Fort Zancudo, spawning a Personal Aircraft whilst at LSIA - you know, the largest airport in the game so far with multiple runways - can't happen as it'll spawn somewhere nearby outside of LSIA, because LSIA spawns are reserved for players who own an LSIA Hangar specifically, and for Pegasus Aircraft spawns.

 

Ridiculous. 

I too got rid of one or two aircraft to make room for the RO-86 Alkonost, which is trash (slow, roll rate is too high, bomb capacity is terrible and the idea of having a cargo bay just for the heist is laughable, weak armour / explosive resistance) and the Stealth Annihilator, which is also trash because the Akula does almost the same job, but more.

I believe so but it may depend on the livery.

The one I had, had a black stripe along its body and black markings. The rest of it was paintable with a primary and a secondary.

Yes, you can create a fully black Velum.

 

The Velum, Velum 5-Seater, and Duster have stripes that are linked to wheel color, and you can't change wheel color in the hangar. The Volatus has a stripe linked to pearlescent, and the Nimbus has both.

 

But the first Velum color in the Pegasus spawn order has the wheel colors / stripe set to Black.

 

Other color spawns have this color set to Blaze Red, Chocolate Brown, and Bluish Silver. (On PC the last two will reset to Alloy color upon restart because wheel colors other than the ones available at LSC aren't saved.) It's possible to spawn the different color combinations by moving the aircraft away from the Pegasus spawn points, keeping an eye on them so they don't despawn (or have a friend watch them), and requesting the Pegasus aircraft until the right color spawns.

 

Aside from this method it's only possible to change the wheel color on aircraft through glitching. (This way you could also obtain an all-black Luxor Deluxe, or black with different color stripes.)

I should add though that if you use Classic/Metallic Black for the Velum, you will still be able to *very slightly* see the black numbers from the livery.

 

You can make these disappear completely by using crew black #000000, but then the stripe will be a slightly lighter black, because as mentioned it is Classic Black from the wheel color.

I think this is due to the introduction of the new "extra large" aircraft size of the Alkonost.

 

Someone on this forum said it happens every time they go online, but for me it only happened once.

That happened to me on dlc day. I believe it to be a bug prevention for when they added the new hangar size.

We definitely need more space. I refuse to sell off any of my purchased aircraft and I will not remove my Hydra or Lazer because they are too useful.

 

On another note, I really want to replace the Cuban 800 that came with the hangar, but it seems to have a unique pearlescent on it. Can anyone shed light on if that's true or am I wrong?

There are 19 visual storage spots on the hangar floor: 12 small, 5 medium, 2 large. Aircraft in storage are still assigned to one of these. (That's also why the order of the aircraft list in the interaction menu seems so random.) The 20th spot used to exist "in storage" only, with the game only assigning it once you had 19 aircraft in your hangar, but maybe that was converted to the 1 "extra large" spot. Either way, it should be possible to add more purely "in storage" spots.

Then my opinion on that person is very firm and cannot be changed in any way. I feel very strongly about the methods these people use to fill up their garages and I cannot believe that this idea even exists in the world....and that I hadn't thought about it yet because that's pretty smart and I approve very strongly.
