What the Hell? Warehouse Raids One After the Other After Finales and Right Before?

Okay, this is getting stupid and is more than coincidence. I have 5 Full Special Cargo Warehouses, 111 Crates each, with a total of 555 crates. I have been saving them for when they go on double money, hopefully soon. Anyway, sometimes they get raided, and I handle it, usually getting every crate back no stress. However, the first time I did a solo Cayo Heist, I got raided. I was like, Okay, its been a while since one got raided, so I dealt with it easily enough. But then it happened again, and again, all within like a 24 hour period (real life, not in-game time). Since the update, I have been raided 6 times. I was dealing with them at first, but lately, I have just been force closing my game and rebooting. I don't mind being a good soldier and defending my warehouses, Bunker, Night Club, and MC enterprises. But this is out of control. I always maintain full Special Cargo warehouses, and in the past 4 months have been raided just twice in total. This week, 6 times!

So obviously this has to be some kind of a bug! Oh, and it only seems to happen when I am literally just finishing a Finale, or in the Sub about to start one. If I am fast enough on the Action button, I can retire as CEO and then I won't be bothered again, usually until I finish a Finale. But if I am not quick enough, I seem to have a better than 50% chance of a raid on a Special Cargo Warehouse.

For cargo raid you can also change session and you successfully "defend" it.

I didn't know you could do that safely. I only knew that closing the game did lol. Thanks!

The reason I posted this thread is because obviously this is some kind of a glitch. I doubt that doing Cayo Heist Finales are supposed to trigger Warehouse raids over 50% of the times I do them, which sometimes amounts to twice a day.

You could also start the heist in private session. You will then spawn in the same private session afterwards. Then you can change to a new public session again. Maybe it helps.

Actually after having that warehouse discussion with you a few weeks ago I filled three large warehouses and I'm scared as hell about raids so I spend 95% my time in private sessions xD

I agree. I have had raids in private sessions, as well. The cloud in the silver lining is that with Warehouse Raids, you can ignore them. I close and restart the game with zero loss of crates, but @ambi3nt said above that just changing sessions ends and successfully defends them.

If you want to sit on full warehouses etc. for months on end, then put them on a second character, or you'll never escape them.

Nah, I really want to focus on only one character/save. It's already way too much as it is with that lol. I really didn't meant to keep these 5 full warehouses at 111 crates each for so long. I honestly thought we would have a 2x SPecial Cargo week before now. Oh well. Meanwhile, I just keep force closing the game when I get screwed after a Cayo heist. One good piece of news I have noticed is that I think I found an effective, albeit very annoying solution, at least a temporary one anyway. As soon as my heist is over, and I get that cut scene of my character drinking and celebrating, as it fades, I start hitting the Action button over and over again until I get into the menu, and I immediately resign as CEO. This seems to be working, but, as I said, it's very annoying. It seems like once I resign as CEO right after the heist, the game doesn't bother me anymore while I am doing preps or other selling or missions. Weird, but true! I just want to hold these 5 warehouses until I can sell them all during the next 2x week for a nice, cool $22.2 Million!

Have you tried doing the heist as MC President instead? That would work if you don't keep stock in your MC businesses.

If those are holding stock too, don't bother, of course, or you'll just get raided on your MC instead.

I was thinking of that, and it may be a good solution at least until I can unload $22+ Million in stock during the next 2x week. The problem I have with the MC Businesses is that even though I keep zero stock in them, they always seem to get raided, going back like 4 months. Maybe it has to do with the Night Club accruing those corresponding goods or something. But even though I keep my MC businesses empty at all times, and only do resupplies/selling when those are buffed 2x money, I get raided a lot when I become an MC President. The problem is that if I opt not to defend the business, then I have to go all the way there, re-open the business, and do the corresponding mission, or I assume the Night Club will stop accruing  merchandise from the ones that were shut down?

Yes, you can't have the business get raided and shut down, or the nightclub will stop accruing.

If you get raided with a seemingly empty MC business, resupply it, wait until the supplies are out and make sure you have at least some stock to sell, then sell that stock. That way, you can be sure there is no hidden stock left behind to get raided. Also make sure to sell any stock you get from the initial business setup after (re)opening it.

And make sure the supplies are out first. If you sell it early, the remaining supplies can get turned into some hidden stock that won't show up in your product bar, but it is there and it can get raided. Coke business tends to do this, stock there goes in only 10 steps from empty to full. but it consumes supplies all the way. You can have 9% stock in there and have it show empty because you can only sell it after 10%

PS. If you get raided on a MC business, and it's not the police or a snitch, but it is a rival gang stealing your product, you can opt to let your product get stolen (or go destroy it) without the business getting shut down. Only a police raid (or a snitch) will shut it down.

Great to know, thanks for the info, @AirWolf359! Hopefully very soon the Special Cargo will go on special, pun intended, and I can unload all these crate for a ton of money.  :)

@kenmy13999, I am playing on PS4.

Okay, this isn't a solution to the problem but might help making things a little easier. In the settings menu you have a setting called internet connection or something, in there you can disconnect the internet connection, so if you go from there and in to the game you can double tap ps button to get there from in game. Doing that will send you to story mode and you can just join online back from there, that way you don't have to close and start the game every time

@kenmy13999, I will try your way if I start losing crates for restarting GTAV or changing sessions when I get raided. Right now, jumping through hoops for my Internet disconnection every time I do something Cayo related seems like a lot of work. Hopefully Special Cargo will be buffed soon enough and I can unload the contents of all 5 warehouses! lol

It's actually just about the same work as closing the app but it's much faster since you don't have to load the game from scratch again

Can confirm. It’s the same process as shutting down your connection to “win” the lucky wheel vehicle. Super easy.
