As you asked, I'll answer.

 

Mod menu abuse, often used to manipulate others accounts.

 

Glitches, used to cheat a kill/bit of cash.

 

Major differences as all a glitcher can do is ruin their own game at worst while mod abuse can f*ck anyone up completely. There's a huge difference and PS4 doesn't have the latter fortunately. But yes, moving on...

This isn't as serious as f*cking up someone's stats etc but everyone playing on ps3 probably have encountered windmill blades making it almost impossible to get out of buildings etc, I at least remember them relatively often on my way out after joining a heist 

That and of course other things is the reason I've always hoped Sony would be able to prevent people from getting online with mod menus on ps4

It was hell! The way they played with my account in the end, I just had to start fresh once I saw how safe it is compared on the newer version. I don't miss those days at all, lol.

 

What I can't believe is how R* let the same issues plague PC's RDRO after GTA:O. I couldn't trust one of their games on that platform at all. Sacrificing a bit of graphics for security is a no brainer for me.

So glad I never experienced anyone doing anything with my account and can only imagine how It felt for the ones that experienced it

Yh they definitely should do more about it on pc, on ps4 at least we can only thank Sony for not experiencing the same sh*t, hopefully the ps5 will be just as safe when I eventually get one

Well what did you suspect rockstar was going to do? Keep a money glitch floating around? I have noticed over the years that glitches f*ck things up for everyone else who play legit. It is what it is. Now people get f*cked out of the trade price because of lazy ass people.

They could at least fix it properly when they release a new update, really shouldn't be a problem for R* to fix it with latest update. Nothing but laziness from R* and really shows that the only thing they're interested in "fixing" is money glitches
