How long till they nerf payouts?

They’ve never nerfed the payout of any heists before iirc. But I can see them adding in obstacles to drag out the finale like DCH.

"Kapitan, it appears the sh*tter is clogged. Better swim around the entire island to go to land, yes?"

This.

They don't nerf payouts as that will cause a Community wide backlash. They add obstacles and sh*t, part of the Community will be annoyed, the other will see it as a challenge and both sides will start arguing with the old "git gud" thrown around while R* laughs in the background getting away with it.

Earlier I was doing the finale and was short on time and kept f*cking up trying to get secondary loot as I was rushing. In the end I just grabbed the bonds from the safe and snatched some easy to get cash from the main dock. Then I jumped in the ocean and swam off with an easy as f*ck $1.1m.

Easy work, easy money. I can see something being done to try and limit what we make from this. I'm an average player at best and while I haven't perfected it yet, I will.

Yeah they'll definitely add in more obstacles or something to make the heist more difficult in time. At which point, I'll probably stop replaying the heist. I haven't gone back to any of the previous heists, even when they're on double money.

The diamond casino heist were also extremely profitable for their time, and their payouts were never nerfed either. (Only some minor obstacles were added later, and the gold glitch was fixed.)

I was actually surprised we could choose the same entry vehicle every time. But even if that weren't the case, people would simply alternate between Kosatka and Longfin entry.

Probably wouldn't be worth it as its only 100k less than necklace. Hopefully they give a guarantee 1st spawn of the panther statue when that comes in.

The obvious thing to do would be a 1 hour cooldown instead of 5 minutes but even that might be tricky because then how would we do the hard mode. Unless you pay the setup fee then wait the hour to scope it to access hard.

Seems to already be the case...  First 4 times after the Madrazo files I got the Tequila. The one I’m on currently is the first deviation from that having to steal a Diamond.

NULL AND VOID

They should add freakin sharks with freakin lazer beams on their freakin heads. No more swimming 100 miles back to Los Santos.

So unrealistic... And I'm not even talkin about the sharks. 😆 🙉

The problem is that most of it is a waste of time, secondary targets around the island, guard uniforms, bolt cutters etc are all pointless.

In through the drainage tunnel, grab everything around the compound, out through the front door, steal the jeep that comes torward you, take the first left, in to the sea and swim away. Did it with 3 of us last night, all lootbags full. No need to go anywhere else. Need to half the payout and double the space in the bag to force you to go find other stuff to fill it with, you have to halve the payout to keep it (overall) the same.

Although frustrating, the concept of forcing a different plan in the casino heists was a better idea.

I think they are just trying out a lot of stuff for future expansions and even GTA6 to see how well they work.

@Crafty- That only works if you're with 2 or more. Otherwise only secondary targets outside the compound are possible excluding the safe and paintings in the main office.

Considering that I had that bloody Tequila for the last 4 times I did this heist on my secondary it would not surprise me if this is not the case already.

Lonely-Martin

I'd quite enjoy it if the guards were given different placements every now and then, add a few obstacles and the like too. Make it known that El Rubio knows he's getting raided too often and tightens security etc in a newswire to help it feel more dynamic.

Though I can see some would get grumpy with that too. But I don't mind it freshening up.

I dont know its been easier and easier to make big money after every update since 2013. Seems about right we got something so easy now. I had 7 million left after I bought the sub. Now I got 38 in just a week

If you get a high value primary and a painting which will take a fair bit of bag space, is it worth the risk and extra time running around the island just to get a bit more ? probably best in terms of money/risk) just to leave right away and run another one.

What risk? Of course you should always fill your bag. Btw painting is not the best bet. Solo you should aim for cocaine>weed>painting>cash in value order. For the most part you can fill your bags in main dock easily. Either start from there or use it as escape point.

Just take the bike to the main docks, loot there, then escape. Not only do you get a bit more money from the loot, you also get money for doing the elite challenge.

Pavel says no disguise will work once you rob the compound

my no kills run in a guard outfit where i exit the main docks casually in a boat run says different. I wouldnt be surprised if they fixed that. Possibly mde the guards even more aware.

Also its WAY too easy even on hard mode to get through the compound fast and without a single kill. You can literally walk past the guard by the office stairs hes so dumb. Adding a single guard or two could change that. Is no one watching the same safety cameras that you patch into for the setup mission? IM ROBBING YOUR BOSS BLIND AGAIN SOMEONE WATCH THE OFFICE CAMERAS

No rotating Guard positions, no locked central CCTV room, no RNG on Drainage Tunnel, same patrol routes etc.

I hate to say it but the payouts are about three times too much, even if we were getting three hundred grand per main objective I would still feel it was too easy.

@Crafty- that really depends on how risky you want to play it and if you get caught. As some say you can take some loot from near the dock after the compound whether you’re undetected or not.

If you want to play it more safe you could for example loot something else before going to the compound. Like the spawns in the hangar. Which seems to be the place with the least guards.

Also fun to operate the Forklift. 😄

They will nerf the entrance for sure and wont let you take the same approach consecutively. Anyone got another easy alternative to drainage?

i mean real talk i have obviously played it a bunch of times but ive lready more than tripled the money i had before this heist cme out. my normal CEO and gunrunning/niteclub grind days are over. I can make more money doing a heist than all of that, and im not too burned out to play some more and have fun.

I wouldnt be surprised if they modify the heist some but I really hope they dont: while there is an obvious quick way to do it, I quite enjoy taking different approaches

All I read is "its so hard to make money of money grabbing rockstar" they give us a repeatable doddle of a job to grind and people seem to be upset how easy it is... is it any wonder rockstar nerf stuff :D

Longfin to Main Dock, loot the two soloable locations if the RNG is good and then take the parked Winky up the hill to the guard tower near the Compound checkpoint - then just down to the checkpoint and away you go. 7 minutes or less when moving at a good pace.

The single biggest complaint about GTAO in general is that it's a serious grind to afford anything. Once a newer player has scraped together a huge $2.2m for the Kosatka, and practised enough to be good at the heist, they can now start to afford the dozen or so other businesses and locations that they are required to have to access the content of other expansions.

I will openly admit that the only reason I've played GTAO in the last year or so was doing both time trials weekly and collecting login bonuses to accumulate money over time, because the endless uphill grind was too much compared to the prices of cars coming out. Now however, the payout from a decent solo heist will just about cover the purchase price of a BF Club, one single vintage hatchback, which to me feels more like the old days of doing contact missions for an hour or two to save up for a shiny new Warrener. That's much better than spending five hours doing 43 Client Jobs to afford the same Club, or whatever the other best solo grind was (also noting the whopping paywall to get a Nightclub, Terrorbyte and drone station!).

For the first time, casually buying a car costing more than a million dollars now actually seems achievable without an overwhelming grind, gifts from Prime, or luck on the casino wheel.

Don't get me wrong, I am not stepping on anyone or want the easy money to stop. I said in another topic that it's nice to be paid fairly for my time.

Even if you're getting tequilla on normal mode, you'd still easily make 1.1-1.2M from the heist which is still pretty profitable.

I started doing the heist last 10 days ago, went from 9M to 30 million dollars, I never though I'd be that rich, its to the point where I dont even know what to buy.
